Chapter -3: My Body Is Good!

-------

After managing to escape from an embarrassed Tatsuki – and honestly, teasing her was surprisingly fun – I headed toward my class, still with a faint smile on my face.

Since I defeated her several times a few months ago, it seems she's completely focused on training. It's strange to think back on it: Tatsuki has always been strong, at least from what I remember, but lately, she's reached a level that's hard to ignore.

Her growth makes me reflect. Even without spiritual energy, and relying only on my talents, I know how innately superior I am to an average human. The stone shatters beneath my feet when I leap with force. Iron bends effortlessly in my grip.

It all comes naturally to me. However... even so, a few years ago, Tatsuki was stronger than me, or at least in martial arts, she was definitely superior. This is a fact. It's impossible to deny.

That moment comes back to my mind. It's true that I defeated her, but it was because of my talents, and I had already started developing my spiritual power. Sure, it wasn't even close to the level it is now, but it was already something beyond what an average human could ever hope to achieve in their entire life.

After that victory, though, it became clear: the gap between me and Tatsuki was destined to widen more and more. So, I didn't want to drag her into my world, Ichigo decided to keep her away. Maybe, deep down, he thought he was protecting her.

But now, looking at her, it's impossible to ignore the truth. If Tatsuki had been "normal," Ichigo would have been right: no one could ever come close to my level.

Yet she is different. How did I not notice it before?

That level of strength, that mastery of martial arts... to reach this point in just six years? It's incredible. Tatsuki has never been like the others, and even without any spiritual energy, just with Kokyu and Hoho, she became a martial genius that is seen once in a generation.

She didn't just learn these techniques; she perfected them to levels far beyond what is considered normal. Still, there's a part of me that can't stop wondering:

What pushed her this far? Was it the desire to compete with me? Or perhaps it's something deeper? Ichigo clearly underestimated how much his actions might have influenced her.

But one thing was certain: I wouldn't allow her talent to go to waste, and for that reason, I had already decided that I would release our old relationship and then help her become stronger instead of leaving her to be a background character in this world.

Still, I wished I were anywhere else while listening to the boring lesson in front of me. Huh? I sighed, staring out the window from my Protagonist Seat—third row, last window on the left.

The professor's lecture continued to drag on, a monotonous discourse on history, math, or some other subject that, honestly, I didn't care about much since I already knew everything he was saying.

If I had a real choice, I would have gone straight to the Shinigami Academy, since honestly, mastering Zanjutsu, Kido, and Hakuda would be really useful and would push me forward for the future.

At least that time gave me a chance to reflect. The last day, I discovered something new. I let my Quincy powers flow the entire time during this morning's training and for many hours afterward.

I don't know if it's a coincidence, but I feel like my spiritual energy reserves are bigger than they were before. Is it the [Soul Talent], or maybe the influence of Old Zangetsu? Or perhaps it's the Dragon factor from Artoria...

I'm reminded that in the Fate universe, dragons are beings made entirely of magical energy, and their cores function like autonomous, extremely efficient systems, ensuring a massive and constant flow of power.

It's curious to think that the simple act of breathing allows them to produce this energy: their lungs aren't just physical organs, but function as actual spiritual worlds.

Maybe, in the end, I was becoming something like that.

Thanks to my Quincy side, not only was I able to absorb and manipulate spiritual energy, but now with my dragon core, I could also generate energy directly within my body. What a great synergy.

My mind drifts into these possibilities. Artoria, being only a level 7, was clearly weaker than Yhwach, at least in the condition I'm in now. But she gave me an opportunity.

To surpass him, all it would take would be having a Reiatsu level significantly higher than his. In the end, it's just a matter of scale: if his Reiatsu significantly surpasses mine, he can resist my attacks.

Similarly, if I could outclass him to an extreme degree, I might even be able to nullify his ability to alter the future. This principle was demonstrated by Aizen, who, in a similar situation, crushed Soi Fon's Reiatsu and nullified the attack of her Shikai, even though he was forced to act after being hit.

I absentmindedly drummed the pen on the desk, letting my thoughts drift towards the Waifu Catalogue. Now that I thought about it, I realized I hadn't really considered the idea of buying companions.

Maybe it never seemed important to me. I had always prioritized personal strength, so I had practically ignored the entire section dedicated to "Companions."

And why shouldn't I? Relying on others seemed like a limitation. If I was going to grow, I wanted to do it on my own, relying only on my own abilities. Sure, companions could be useful, but was it really a sensible investment with my budget?

With only 360 credits available, it seemed more logical to enhance what I already had, rather than spend them on someone else. In the end, it all came down to a simple truth: for my survival, strength was the most important thing to me.

[Interlude]

After the bell rang signaling the start of lunch break, I got up from my seat and left the classroom. I decided to go grab something to eat. I thought something spicy would be perfect, as, if my memory served me right, Ichigo was a fan of intense and spicy flavors.

As I walked down the hallways, I immediately noticed two types of looks directed at me. The girls were looking at me with eyes full of admiration, almost with hearts in their eyes, like in a real Hentai, while the boys were staring at me with a certain amount of fear.

The girls? Well, it was probably due to my "Jotaro Kujo" effect, that mix of natural charm and bad-boy attitude that seems irresistible to every girl in this school.

But it's not just that.

I have to admit my talents, [Love Spot] and [Body Tune-up], probably have something to do with it. I wouldn't even be able to explain exactly how they work, but the result is clear: every girl in this school looks at me like I'm the guy of their dreams.

It's not the first time this has happened, and I don't even care about it anymore since I'm not interested at all. The boys, on the other hand, don't fear me for my appearance, but for my reputation.

Since I entered this school, I've knocked out nearly every delinquent, one after the other. Not because I like fighting, but because someone had to restore some order. I can't stand it when the stronger ones take advantage of the weaker ones.

This has earned me forced respect... and a certain distance from others.

When I entered the cafeteria, the crowd parted in front of me. I can't deny that a part of me enjoys taking advantage of this situation: I walk straight to the front of the line, and no one dares to complain.

Better for me – I'm not planning to spend half of my lunch break in line. I shrugged after noticing Tatsuki, next to a rather cute Orihime, who gave me a reproachful look.

Was she still mad about that comment? Such childish behavior. By doing this, she was just giving me more ways to tease her. Without thinking too much about it, I walked away, determined to find a quiet place where I could eat in peace.

For this reason, I headed towards a corner, under a tree, where I could enjoy my sandwich without interruptions. While eating, my mind drifted to my future training.

I had already decided to start practicing and experimenting with my Quincy abilities since, honestly, I found them to be the most balanced and adaptable, capable of being useful in almost any situation.

After that, I'd focus on Haki and enhancing my physical strength. Martial arts were also a priority, considering Ichigo, let's be honest, was pretty mediocre in hand-to-hand combat.

He almost exclusively relied on his instincts to win, which isn't necessarily a flaw, but it definitely isn't ideal. But since I possess a natural talent for fighting, I'm confident that with time and practice, I'll significantly improve.

When Tatsuki returns, I'll ask her to spar whenever possible. With my [Martial Talent], I have no doubt I'll learn a lot from her and, in the end, become the best.

Another thought crosses my mind: should I perhaps attend some dojos to master different fighting styles?

I could do that; after all, it would certainly broaden my perspectives. In any case, my long-term goal is clear: learn techniques from all the different races and combine them with my natural abilities.

Speaking of that, I knew I needed an object to create my Fullbring, since I wasn't planning to wait for my Shinigami badge to get one.

However, I still needed to decide on a good object. I had a few things in mind but nothing truly concrete for now. I needed something that resonated with my energy and would allow me to manifest my power more concretely.

To eventually harmonize all my powers...

After school, I returned home and greeted my sisters as soon as I entered. Dinner was quick—some leftovers Yuzu had prepared—and, after a refreshing bath, I headed straight to my room.

I had plans for the evening: to train.

Sitting cross-legged on the floor, I closed my eyes and tried to clear my mind. Manipulating spiritual energy, or Reishi, was something I tried to do during every available moment to get used to it.

It wasn't just about channeling raw energy, but going beyond that. I wondered if, by treating it like other energy systems—like Hamon or Chakra—it would be easier to push it to its full potential.

With a deep breath, I focused. At first, the sensation was faint, like a distant whisper passing through my body. Slowly, though, I began to feel the energy spread. Bright blue lines began to emerge along my skin, tracing through every fiber of my being.

The control wasn't perfect yet, but the potential was undeniable, almost tangible. A slight hum vibrated in the air, growing in intensity as the energy responded to my will. The Blut fully manifested, spilling from my body and expanding around me, forming a protective layer, almost as if the energy itself was coming to life to defend me.

I had been focused for about an hour when a soft knock at the door broke my concentration. "Ichigo?" Yuzu's voice was calm, but it sounded concerned.

I reluctantly opened my eyes and looked toward the door. She was standing there, her head tilted with a worried expression. "Are you okay? You've been quiet tonight."

I nodded with a neutral look, giving her a nonchalant glance. "Yeah, I'm just training."

Yuzu blinked, clearly confused, but didn't press the issue. "Okay. But don't stay up too late, alright?" With a gentle smile, she left, and I returned to my focus.

I felt a little guilty for keeping so much from her, but in a world like ours, letting my guard down wasn't an option. Later, I quietly left the house. The streets were deserted, illuminated by the dim light of the street lamps.

I felt more alive than ever.

Leaping nimbly from one rooftop to the next, I moved naturally, seeking out my future prey. My body felt lighter, my senses sharper, every movement fluid and precise as the Blut coursed through me, amplifying every one of my physical ability.
