hybrid mage repost by @ikari_Cosmos

In a world of Ethereals where the impossible is now possible, almost nothing is a mystery anymore. Nova Laos transferred right into the middle of G.E. High, the best Ethation School for some of the strongest and most promising young Ethereals, in the universe. Nova appeared out of nowhere with absolutley nothing known about him. He claims he's an averagely strong Ethereal but then why is he in the top class of the school? Why does he want to keep a low profile? Why do people get the feeling he's hiding a secret? A secret that could plunge existence into chaos. He claims he's a nobody yet the most powerful figures in Ethereal kind seem connected to him and are slowly bringing his secret into the light. In a world where beings are capable of destroying entire universes and realms beyond comprehension, just who exactly is Nova Laos? Act 1:ch.21 The council

Ethereal DNA (along with other kinds of Ethation) is extremely aggressive which is why Ethereal Human "hybrids" seem to be just as powerful as your regular Ethereals. Since Ethos are hundreds of times more powerful than Ethereals and the other kinds of Etharions, it'd be logical to assume Ethos DNA is even more aggressive, overriding a large amount of my human and Ethereal DNA making me what? Half Ethos? Quarter Ethos?

Something like that, would you agree Unus?

If my thought process is correct then that is case Trio. I'd say you and your siblings are around one quarter Ethos while other members of your family are one third Ethos since they don't have human DNA unlike you. Although, the direct children of Cynthia could possibly be half. If I had a host body I could probably examine the DNA truly in person (not through your eyes Nova) to get a more accurate result.

Aaah! All this science mumbo jumbo is making my head hurt.

Well maybe you should do something else Duo.

Nothing would please me more, you blue blooded science experiment, but if you hadn't noticed I'm kinda infused within you meaning I hear ALL of your thoughts. Anyway shouldn't you be more worried about the meeting?

Your probably right on that last part.

As I finished the thought we all finally exited the gate into the room where the negations would begin.

The room was unique in its design. It was big. Very big in fact, circular in shape with a massive hole in the centre of it. The hole was so big that it met the walls either side of it making it around twenty metres in diameter as well as splitting the room into two sides. On one side was me, Lazuli, Shion, Kuni, Rei, Minerva, Andrea and Alex. There were also podiums surrounding the hole, one for each of us with a dark red coloured one in the centre between the others that had the initials N.C on it. I assumed this was mine. On the other side were a group of twenty something people, each one standing in front of podiums with the person in the centre's podium a pure marble white. That, as well as the person looking rather elderly led me to assume this guy was the chairman.

Kuni let out an impressed whistle.

"Nice looking place." He said casually. "Different compared to the architecture on earth but that doesn't mean it's bad. Then again, what do I know about architecture, haha."

Kuni noticed no one was laughing with him and sheepishly shut up.

"Sir Nova," The Chairman spoke. "It's great to finally meet you, we've waited a long time for this day. You look much younger than I expected."

"Around seven hundred and thirty thousand days." I said, making sure my face remained neutral.

"I'm sorry?" The Chairman replied.

"The war between the Ethereal and Demoreal Empires has been going on for around two thousand years. That's how many days are in two thousand years." I said smoothly. "I've been around since the beginning of the war so I'd prefer it if you don't treat me like I'm some rookie youth as I'm older than all of you here."

I noticed the Chairman's eye twitch as well as other members of the council display similar behaviour.

"I see," The Chairman said weakly, clearly irritated though it was kept hidden. I was probably the only one who noticed. "Forgive me then, please take your places so may begin these negotiations."

"No worries." I said casually before nodding at my allies to all take their positions at the podiums.

"Before this begins," Alex began. "Chairman, why are we not in the Council room?"

This wasn't the council room?

"We agreed that this room would be far better suited to the topics of this meeting plus," The Chairman looked at the vast hole that kept us apart. "We have measures in place to keep everyone safe. This hole acts like a mix between a portal and black hole, sucking in anything too close and dispensing it somewhere within the Chaos Void."

"In short, this is your protection against me." I said bluntly, seeing through the Chairmen's words.

Even though I could easily teleport to their side, actually the gravitational pull this hole had wouldn't effect me as I transcend the concept of Space-Time. Last time I checked gravity is linked with the Concept of Space. Unless this thing is using the very Principle of Gravity and or Space then it'll have no effect on me.

Concepts come from Principles so naturally they'd be more powerful.

"A incomprehensible underestimation of my abilities my lords but it's motives are understandable so I'll overlook it for now." I said calmly flashing a very brief smile at the council who looked back with either awkward expressions or hidden feelings of irritation.

"Yes well this meeting can now officially begin." The Chairman announced, hitting a wooden hammer on his podium.

A still but tense atmosphere appeared in the room as I noticed a few of the council members fidget nervously, their eyes darting back and forth between my friends and I although they made sure to never make eye contact.

Something's wrong.

Yeah everything's just… off.

I agree with you there Trio, they didn't look this nervous to begin with.

Be careful and try to not get riled up if they do anything otherwise word might get to The Demoreal King.

Trust me, if they do try anything I'm very sure they won't be able to say any words at all.

"To beginning with, some refreshments." The Chairman said, snapping his figures with wine glasses appearing out of nowhere. One for each podium on our side.

Moments later, two beautiful maids appeared out of two portals attached to the walls either side of us each holding a dark green bottle. They both attended to us and filled our empty glasses with fine blood red wine that was pored from the bottles.

"I hope you appreciate this gift of sorts Sir Nova as you and your friends are our honoured guests during this probably long meeting that will end this war." The Chairman said, a warm smile on his face like the one a host inviting people to a high end party.

"And for you Sir Nova," someone from the Council said. He had yellow hair and dark green skin. "We present to you a specific beverage fit only for someone of your stature."

As he said this one of the maids approached me and the green bottle she was holding to a golden one covered with white patterns.

"There are only two bottles left of this wine. Each one aged at least a thousand years."

As the council member spoke, the maid holding the golden bottle pored a red and yellow coloured wine, filling the glass completely.

"Thank you Akuma." The Chairman said with Akuma nodding before returning to his podium. "Now before we get to the main course of this meeting we will now have members of this council to talk with Sir Nova and negotiate their own little trades, deals etc if they so desire."

I expected this. At the end of the day, whether I like it or not, I am an Emperor who is talking peace and coexistence negotiations with essentially the Nobles of the enemy. Most of these Council members are probably Kings and Queens, others may be powerful Lords within their respective Omegas and I can assume that the Chairman is probably an Overlord that controls a sector of the Demoreal Empire. Judging by his surprising amount of power for a man withered by old age and his dignified manner I'm probably right on that point.

"Sir Nova," called out a member with clouded eye. "To my knowledge you had quite the conflict with some of the Five Great Families, that became personal, which led to the complete extinction of the Graphene Family."

As the Council Member spoke I felt my grip on the podium tighten.

"So my question is Sir Nova," the Council Member continued. "What exactly do you plan to do with the remaining Great Families?"

I should have known this question would come up.

During the war five of the strongest Demoreal Families directly served the Demoreal King. These were the Tanzanite Family, Platinum Family, Titanium Family, Tungsten Family and Graphene Family. They were all incredibly powerful with each family being something of an elite force. Most of the battles my siblings and I took part in were with these Families and their armies, one of which led to the complete destruction of the entire Graphene Family. Men, women children and all were destroyed by us. It's also the same family that Az…

I paused as I tried stop myself from acting out. It was clear this question had some malice in it.

"Yes we had our conflicts and battles." I replied after a moment. "But I have no personal animosity towards them now."

My mind wondered to the time when I came into contact with Falce Platinum also known as the Chess Demon.

"Even though some may have personal vendettas against me." I finished in a neutral tone.

Falce had some friends with him didn't he?

Yes I believe they were Azazel Titanium and Mammon Tungsten.

"Excuse me Sir Nova but I've heard of this place called Valhalla in the Primis Omega." A Council Member with an energy like horn sprouting from his head. "My sources say that the technology there is extremely advanced, being able to harness the energy of Multiverses without destroying them. I would help further this technology with my own sources however I'd also like around, oh I don't know, a 52% cut of the profits made and 48% of the new technologies be installed into our own Omegas."

"Oh I'd like to add to that." Another member spoke up, raising her hand. "Ideally I'd like to introduce food trading with our empires involving a 65/35 to us for cuts of meat and a 51/49 to you for different kinds of fruits. As for the rest of the different kinds of foods products I'd like to push forward a deal of 80/20 to us."

As the woman spoke I saw other members exchange glances or write notes, all having arrogant smiles written on their faces.

These Council Members is either has the biggest balls in all of the infinite histories or is incredibly stupid.

"Well madam, although I would not mind exchanging in food trading with the Demoreal Empire we will negotiate cuts and profit percentages another time. I cannot accept those offers you have given me." I said calmly.

The female Demoreal eyed me for a moment, a brief look of anger flashed on her face, before nodding.

"About that technology Sir Nova I'd like to sugges-"

"I must consult my scientists and engineers on such matters first," I said quickly, interrupting the member before he could finish. "though I will think about it."

The Council Member seemed satisfied.

'I'll think about it', such a beautiful phrase. Not an outright no nor a yes either but it leaves just enough room for some kind of hope for the recipient even if the person saying has no intention to help.

"I have a question Sir Nova," another Council Member said. "What do you have to say to the trillions of families who've lost family members to your battles as well as the billions and billions of innocents who were taken by your hand in the crossfire?"

You little bastard.

I made no show of irritation on my face as much as I felt tempted to put the Council Member in his place after I saw Lazuli and the others make quick glances at me.

"Some call you a monster what do you say to that?"

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Rei take a vicious step forward from her podium, fury scratched onto her face.

I held up my hand, quickly stopping her from doing anything drastic.

We made eye contact and I glanced back to the podium. There was a long pause before Rei reluctantly went back to her spot.

My eyes turned to the Council Member who'd spoken, his cocky smile irritating me even further.

"To answer that Mr er…"

"Sir Diamond." Said the Council Member putting emphasis of the Sir.

"To answer your question Mr Diamond," I continued casually. "I don't think I owe anyone an apology, especially to the families of soldiers."

Furious whispers began to rumble across the podium which would finally and only be hushed by the sharp noise of the Chairman's hammer.

"Sir Nova," Diamond said, visibly irritated. "May you explain your reasoning for such an outrageous statement."

I shrugged my shoulders.

"My reasoning is rather simple. It's war."

"Care to elaborate Sir Nova." The Chairman said, visibly interested in my response.

"Very well. Tell me, what happens in war? Battles, destruction and death. With most of the latter most part being the soldiers and others actively out in the field. Every soldier, as soon as they enlist, know full well there's a very high chance of them being killed in action and those who do properly enlist are fully prepared for that. It's part of their job. However unfortunately a lot of civilians do die in the crossfire as well. Obviously a war on this scale has much larger consequences and the casualties are far larger however you seem to forget that it wasn't just me or the other Ethereals taking lives."

A few of the smarter Council Members saw where I was going with this.

"The Demoreal armies also slaughtered trillions of our soldiers as well as billions and billions of innocents so if I have to apologise, shouldn't you guys to?"

An ugly scowl scarred itself onto Diamond's face.

"Not only that, but you all seem to have forgotten the very reason this war started. The Ethereal Empire never made any advances against the Demoreal Empire even when it would go on to conquer other Omegas. It was you who invaded our territory and tried to conquer us Ethereals. We merely defended ourselves and when you kept on sending your warriors we realised that just defending ourselves from your endless attacks would amount to nothing. So we tried to cut the problem right at the root, fighting your soldiers before they could fight us."

"Your forgetting you still took innocent lives Nova." Diamond grumbled, dropping the Sir.

"And I sympathise with all of their families but so did your forces Diamond, none of us are innocent here. In fact, from where I'm standing, you are the people who should be apologising. Innocents and Soldiers will lose their lives in war, that is a given. Yet there is a difference between us. You are the ones who initiated the war. You and the Demoreal King." I said in a serious but calm tone. "Our goal throughout this whole war has been to defend ourselves and fight you, the Demoreal Empire, while your's has been the conquering and destruction of the Ethereal Empire. If you hadn't stopped after we fought off your multiple invasion skirmishes, better yet, if you hadn't attacked at all, all those lost lives I should be apologising for would still be alive or would have peacefully passed away in their sleep via old age. Think before you speak Demoreal. This meeting isn't the Ethereal Empire's surrender… it's the Demoreal Empire fixing their colossal mistake."

There was a long pause as the Council Members chattered amongst themselves in hushed voices. Using my mind reading capabilities I could tell they all had a distain for and what made them irritated even more was that they knew I was right.

The Demoreals made the first move. They decided to attack the Ethereals even though we had no intention of entering conflict with them. They attacked and they weren't prepared for the consequences and that responsibility is entirely on them. They knew that if the roles where switched, they would have more or less done the exact same things as the Ethereals.

"I think that's enough of the individual negotiations." The Chairman said looking very tired. "Sir Nova I shall ignore your slightly offensive comments, intended or not, and we shall no move on to the main business at hand. All of you have a copy of the current treaty for peace and coexistence between the Ethereal and Demoreal Empire."

He gestured to the pieces that of paper on our podiums.

I complied and turned to the first page of the treaty.

These. Little. Shits.

Oh, hahaha! That's some nerve.

For a meeting supposedly about peace these Council Members seemed to be going out of their way to piss me off. I was currently fuming due to the demands and conditions within the treaty.

It read as follows.

Military:

· The Demoreal Military Force will be reduced by 10% while the Ethereal Military will be cut in half to prevent any invasion or terrorisation from both parties.

· The Cosmos Family will be forbidden from taking part in active military affairs such as military training, battles or any wars with other outside forces. This is to prevent the excessive amount of collateral that is caused by their influence.

· 20% of all military discoveries will be shared, this applies to both parties.

Food & Resources:

· Due to the amount of damage caused to the Demoreal food production, architecture, etc, 75% of all food and other resources will be transferred to the Demoreal Empire. The Ethereal will be compensated with money.

Politics:

· As both Empires will form an alliance of sorts The Demoreal will have a sphere of influence over 20%-35% of the Ethereal Empire. If the Ethereal also wishes to have the same they must conduct separate negotiations after this treaty as been signed.

Other:

· The Ethereal Overlords, Diablo and Kara Cosmos, will be replaced by Demoreal Higher-ups.

· The Demoreal King shall have a say in all major decisions that directly or indirectly involve Demoreals and other Ethorians.

· Novarion Cosmos, The Ethereal Emperor, is demanded to stand in front of the Demoreal King and be tried for the War Crimes he has committed over the last 1000-2000 years.

Judging by Rei and the others reactions they were also outraged.

They ask you to stand trial for your crimes but not The Demoreal King or any of the Five Great Family members?!

To stop myself from doing something drastic I took my glass of wine and drank. The supposedly divine liquid touched my tongue.

Huh?… Oh?… Oh. So that's how they're playing it aye?

I swallowed and looked up, my eyes staring darkly at the smug looking Council Members.

"Your all going to suffer dearly." I breathed in a dangerously low and quiet voice.

It was at that exact moment when Akuma made himself known.

"Oh!? We're gonna suffer!? How unfortunate that is since that wine you just drank in your glass specifically Nova was laced with the most deadly poison in the Demoreal Empire." Akuma gloated, the Chairman smiling with him. "Your insides will begin to burn and scar before an immense heat crawls into your lungs, burning them inside out. Then after that, your entire nervous system will be fried until your brain explodes. I hear the process can last up to hours maybe even days! If your lucky maybe it'll be in the first you minutes. You give us promises of suffering when you'll die today haha! Maybe will take hold of those beautiful women friends of yours and take good care of them."

Some of the Council Members made disgusting looks at Lazuli and the other girls showing clearly perverted intentions.

"Such beautiful people should not be wasted on weak scum like you but that no longer matters!" Akuma continued verging on hysteria. "With you, the Emperor, dead The Demoreals will have won. The Ethereals will have no leader and everything will collapse into chaos. Ha. Hehehaha! Face it you stupid boy the Ethereal Empire is fini-"

I cut him off. Literally.

The moment Akuma began to utter the word, "finished", his entire body was separated into two pieces a few inches away from each other. He looked like he'd been cut in two straight down the middle with the cut so clean and quick the two halves just stood their for a few moments in silence before finally falling.

It seemed like some invisible supernatural event had happened but I was the one who caused it. As Akuma had began to utter his final breath I quickly activated my Yin-Yang Eye and separated his body into two halves before immediately deactivating the Omuni again. The whole process was so quick no one noticed. Only Lazuli or my generals could have possibly noticed but that was unlikely due to the speed of the process.

While everyone was stunned in silence took a few steps back from my podium.

Oh boy here we go.

I kicked the podium. It was sent flying so fast that the gravitational pull of the hole between us and the Council was to slow to take hold of it as it flew over the Council members heads before smashing into hundreds of pieces against the wall behind them.

That seemed to break them out of their stunned trance as they all jumped in fright at the loud crashing noise like a glass had been smashed. They all looked at me as I stood where the podium once stood, casually, hands in my pockets.

Lazuli seemed to have spotted it in my eyes as she made a grim expression along with Rei and Andrea. Minerva and Kuni just stood still, their eyes wide with shock and anticipation on what was to come.

Although it could not be seen on my face, I was furious. Murderous anger boiled within on me so violently that I became numb with rage and I could do nothing but stand completely still, seemingly calm.

Congratulations Council Members. You've successfully pissed me off.

"Five minutes." I breathed before looking at the Council Members in the eye. "I've only been here for five minutes and you've made unreasonable demands of my empire and people. Disrespected me by not calling me by my title. Try to deceive me! Try to use me! Try to POISEN me and threaten my friends!"

The Chairman took a step back as my anger echoed across the room.

"I am Novarion Cosmos, King of the Primis Omega, Emperor to the Ethereal Empire and I will be treated as such!" I roared.

There was a long pause as the Council Members trembled in fear.

"Y-you overestimate yourself boy!" The Chairman said taking a step forward.

"I do, do I?" I hissed as I raised an eyebrow. "Then tell me can you do this."

I snapped my fingers and the the walls and ceiling of the room exploded, exposing us to what looked some kind of mountainous desert area while at the same time the portal between us shattered like glass.

"Is that meant to be impressive?" The Chairman said, crossing his arms. "Spatial transportation of an area is something even a well trained Ethorian teenager could do."

"That wasn't it." I explained. "This is."

I snapped my fingers again and the Council shouted out in fright.

Thousands of glowing red shadow soldiers materialised behind me on the ground and in the air. Not only that but two enormous monsters formed beside me. They were the size of a small mountain. Their scaly crimson skin and giant wings made them immediately recognisable."

"Dragons!?" Lazuli shouted in surprise.

"You've got to be kidding me." Kuni said, sounding exasperated.

A few of the Council members screamed as three other crimson shadow dragons descended from the sky, circling us as their roars echoed across the landscape. Each one as big as the last.

"As you intelligent gentlemen probably know," I addressed the Council. "A single Dragon is capable of destroying hundreds to thousands of Realities. It takes three to destroy an Omega and six to destroy a Relic. If you also know anything about me you should also know about my Wraith Skill. So you'd know that it allows me to summon beings I've killed as my own soldiers. If any of you have a brain you should be able to figure out what this all means."

The Dragons circling us landed on a mountain each before all five dragons raised their heads and released fire from their mouths, the orange flames roaring up into the sky like a nuclear explosion.

"I killed these dragons myself! I killed all five of these dragons which is something you all will never be able to do in your entire lifetime." I grinned as I continued. "You should also know that this is a tiny fraction of my shadow army. You only see five dragons before you buy you should bear in mind that I have another two thousand in storage ready to be summoned. If it only takes six dragons to destroy a Relic I wonder what two thousand can do? You wonder what was the reason that made the dragons disappear and seemingly go extinct. Well you're looking at him."

A few of the Council members fell onto the ground in fear as the dragon to my left bent down its giant head so I could I gently pet it. Stroking my hand across its skin like it was a dog.

I snapped my fingers again and all of the shadow soldiers and dragons disintegrated into a red energy like mist which was absorbed into my body.

"Now then," I said as my blue eyes stared directly into the Chairman's. "Shall we -"

I was interrupted by a purple and black portal opening up between us, multiple people stepped out of it with all of them looking like formidable warriors. I smiled thinly as I recognised three of them.

"Azezal. Mammon. It's good to see you." I then turned to face the person standing in between them, his face scared with fiery amber coloured eyes stared into my own bright blue eyes.

"And it's good to see you to Falce. How long has it been?"
