Feeding

(AN: Hey guys in this chapter I try to explain the powers Klaus has better. I don't think it will change anything I wrote in previous chapters but if I missed something and wrote it differently please comment so I can check it, and if needed change it. Also, something important I wanted to mention, people have commented how long it takes for Klaus and Lily to do some things, that is in part because of what they have become, minds of immortal beings work differently, and humans have a limited amount of time so they try to do as things as fast as possible. (I am not sure did I explain this somewhere in the story but I will in a future chapter) Becoming hybrid changes some things in people so they are capable of living that long. At last, that is how it is in this story, keep in mind that this is my first time writing so I am trying out some things. Also, I wanted to ask why people seem to think that Klaus is weak? The only serious fight he had, was against Apocalypse. That guy is a serious powerhouse. I don't see a reason for him just to go around and show off how powerful he is and have some powertrips, he and Lily both will keep using the amount of power needed in a given situation to resolve it. Sorry about my little rent, let's proceed to the chapter.)

(Klaus POV)

In all my years I never got an opportunity to examine the differences between mutation and magical gift.

Lily would never let me experiment on Diana not that I wanted to, she is my daughter and I love her. But a few years back I got lucky, Zatanna captured a mutant that tried to attack her on one of her missions.

At the same time one of the Black family's Metamorphes ended up half dead in the middle of nowhere, I borrowed her for some time before returning her to her family healed.

Anyway, after some examination, I concluded what are the differences between the two, and it also helped me understand my powers better and even overcome something of a block I had on them.

Firstly mutation comes from the body when what they in the future will call x gen activates it will take an example from the world at random and change a person's body so they can use that example as an ability or its abilities in case of example being an animal. I have no idea how it does it, but I do know that it can be anything from an animal to the fundamental force of the universe.

Now onto the "magical gifts". These powers come from wizards cheating. Somewhere in the lost era wizards probably came up with a ritual that allowed them to steal the power of a mutant and integrated them into their souls. This ritual is now lost which is a good thing.

After the process was done this power would forever stay with that wizard's line. Of course, this ritual had its price and this is where I came into play. I realised that my powers too are a magical gifts.

And it is easy to see how, the price for a magical gift would be something of a wizards power, for example, if I had to guess I would say that the first Metamorph couldn't do transfiguration after the ritual. This normal isn't much of an issue because that piece is paid only by the one that did the ritual.

Meaning their descendants don't have this issue. Well, I do since I am the first person with my magical gift and my price was my connection to the elements.

While I still can use some of the elemental attacks they aren't magical in nature I do it by manipulating the molecules with my telekinesis, except for those done using a wand and with arithmetic spell.

Over the years I noticed that most mages have a connection to at least one element, as for my ability with illusions. Everyone can do them to some extent they are part of mental magic, so they are extremely hard for normal people to do without a wand, my brain makes them easy for me.

But on the positive side, I discovered something I always had an issue with, molecular manipulation. Before I thought I needed to know the molecular composition of something to transmute it because I saw my telekinesis and telepathy as separate from my magic, and while I still need to know the molecular composition of something if I want to make something permanent, I can now just transfigure it temporarily using my imagination.

I used to separate molecular manipulation from transfiguration in my mind before, so to transfigure something I either needed to touch it or use a magical focus, now I don't need either of those. I just need to interact with something using my telekinesis and transfigure it.

Well, there are some limits, human transfiguration is hard and transfiguration lasts only as long as there is my mana in it maintaining it, but still, this was a huge thing for me.

Well, I also concluded that if I could have children one of my descendants would probably come to poses both my abilities and their elemental connection. Since I cannot that thought didn't last long.

Although it would be interesting, if I look at how far Lily came with her elemental manipulation, at this point her powers over the elements can contest my telekinesis which is more powerful than my telepathy.

Some of the examples of this are: while I use my telekinesis and telepathy to be aware of my surroundings all the time she uses wind, water and temperature around her to do the same.

I can use my telekinesis to strengthen my body, she can do the same with the elements in her body somehow.

It goes on and on. Some of the uses of her magic are scary.

Right now I am going to Constantinople to find someone to feed on and probably play a little bit with.

After walking through the city I come to my destination a brothel. Interesting thing prostitution, it has been around almost as long as Lily and me.

It is really useful for Hybrids and probably Vampires too. Brothels are perfect places to find someone to feed on.

I could have just taken bottled blood that we collect on Avalon, but that is kinda boring. Lily went to do her own thing for the last few years, and while that isn't anything special we tend to spend years apart. It is not like a few years or even a few decades is that much to us, but I still am getting bored.

Ivy is teaching at Hogwarts, Diana is controlling the spread of vampires, and Lily I have no idea what she is doing as for me I have finished with most of the interesting projects and have nothing new to do for a while so playing with a few humans could be fun.

After paying for a girl, I follow her to a private room. She has long brown hair, brown eyes, wide hips and big breasts. In this time period she is seen as quite beautiful, although beauty standards tend to change depending on the part of the world.

For example, because of her looks she is seen as quite a beauty in Europe while in more Eastern parts of Asia, the woman with smaller breasts and hips, and pale skin are seen as beautiful.

After entering the private room I use my telepathy to strengthen her sensitivity making sure that things that would feel good to her feel even better.

As well as making sure she doesn't complain about me biting her, she will now find it quite pleasant.

This made me think about the difference between Vampires and Hybrids when feeding. While Hybrids have an eye contact ability that is similar to the obliviate spell that wizards recently created, Vampires actually can hypnotise their victim through the bite.

But that is not important right now is time to play...
