"Ah..." Yu Yan looked at her friend as if she had two heads. Why would her name be all over media? Why would it even be there in the first place? Unless.... no never, they wouldn't dare.
"Yu Yan, how dare you zone out on me!" Ying Yue nagged.
"What's going on? "
" I should ask you, remember that dude you help. Apparently, someone took a picture of you entering one of his cars. Though, it's a picture of your back anatomy, someone who knows you well would know. " Ying Yue chastised.
" Is that why I was flooded with pictures? Does anyone know I'm the one? " Yu Yan was pissed. She felt like giving in to the vortex of despair. Why did she have to help him? All her life has become jumbled up.
"What do we do? Everyone's calling you names."
"Ah..."
"Not you technically, since no one knows it's you yet, however his fans are attacking the woman, saying they'll search for her. I'm so worried, what if they find out it's you? His fans are so aggressive. They are saying you seduced him, God.. "Ying Yue lamented.
" I have evidence, a video. I could post it, so they see. " Yu Yan said, desperate to get out of the mess.
" What evidence? Don't you know you'll be attracting more attention to yourself, plus they'll just go to the tattoo shop to find out more about you!"Ying Yue yelled.
" What do I do then? No one should know it's me."Yu Yan pleaded.
" You just have to lay low and wait for him to take action." Ying Yue replied and got off the car. They walked into the penthouse together.
" Lay low as in?" Yu Yan asked. She had to go to school, she had to work.
"As in stay at home. My PA is doing his best to keep track of the news. Till now, no one knows it's you. We're all waiting for his response. "
" His? Who's him? "
" No... "Ying Yue shook her head in disbelief.

" You mean...you don't even know his name? He's Gu Jingze... as in the Gu Jingze from the Gu Family. Almighty Gu Jingze!" Ying Yue yelled and Yu Yans eyes widened. She had heard a few things about him. They always said he was ruthless, however the person she met was just an imbecile.
Or was it because he was drunk?
"Check your messages, let's keep track of everything. " Ying Yue suggested and Yu Yan switched on her cellphone. As expected, she had messages, but all were from her debtors. They had recognized her from the news.
"I'm expecting my payment soon. You snagged yourself a rich boyfriend, you should pay soon. Else, I'll announce it's you. " One said. Yu Yan raised her eyebrows. Who gave this man the audacity to threaten her? He was already taking it too far.
She'll face him later. For now she had to.... Just then, her phone rang. It was an unknown number.
"Hello, I hope I'm speaking with Miss Yu" The voice said and she passed the phone to Ying Yue, after putting it in speaker mode.
"Yes, and you are?"
"Pardon me, I'm Ling Xiao, Mr Gu's secretary. I'm sure you have seen the scandal. " Ling Xiao said.
" Yes, I have. "
" Mr Gu wants you to meet up with him so as to reach a consensual decision. When would you be free? " He asked and Yu Yan mouthed an answer to Ying Yue. She wanted this to be cleared up as soon as possible.
"Now, I'm free now." Ying Yue replied.
"Great, to avoid paparazzi, please, let's meet at Mr Gu's office. I'll send you the address. " He said and hung up. Yu Yan rolled her eyes. Who wanted to meet him?
" I'll handle the talking, okay?" Ying Yue said as she pulled a reluctant Yu Yan up and headed towards her garage. She was driving, this time around. This was an important case.
