Yu Yan turned to a shaking looking Xiaoyu and held her hand, giving her all the confidence and reassurance she could pass telepathically.

"Heh... that's so funny, how can a slave herself have a slave? " Pei Ge interrupted and the entire crowd soon burst into a hushed laughter.

At a very inconspicuous corner was someone already making a phone call.

Ringgggh, grrr...

Gu Jingze's office phone rang.

"Hello?" He asked wondering who could have this number.

"Hi,you must be Gu Jingze, right, I'm the one Ling Xiao sent to keep tabs on Yu Yan, right now, she's been bullied. " The spy immediately said. Not knowing the kind of person Yu Yan was, he was a bit worried.

Gu Jingze was confused. So, that woman that held Yu Yan's shirt wasn't his spy. Now, he knew how to deal with her very well.

"Ok, stay at a distance and make a record for me." Gu Jingze replied and hung up, leaving the man dazed.

Nonetheless, he switched to his camera and started recording.

Gu Jingze didn't interrupt whatever was going on as he sat calmly and watched what was happening on his laptop.

One, he wanted Yu Yan to deal with it her own way. For some strange reason, he found it difficult to believe that his woman could be bullied.

Secondly, he knew if he went, she'll be all flustered as a result of all that had happened the previous night.

Lastly, he didn't want anyone to notice her yet. It seemed Yu Yan didn't want to be in the spotlight, so, he didn't want to put her in it. It would be suspicious if anyone notices that he came to school whenever she had a problem.

Meanwhile, as he saw the face of the so called person trying to bully his woman, he smirked. That Chin chin or whatever she was called woman was dragging herself into more trouble.

Bai Xin Xin was getting angrier seeing the look Yu Yan was giving. If not for Xiaoyu's worried gaze, no one would know she was the one being insulted.

Xiaoyu was beginning to get worried. She prayed silently that Yu Yan doesn't get violent, worse still, stay calm at this. She knew if it was only Yu Yan being insulted, she would do nothing but now that they were insulting her too, she didn't know how much her friend could take.

Hence, she decided to stand up for Yu Yan to avoid getting her friend into trouble.

As she looked at Yu Yan again, despite the former holding her hand, she felt so scared.

Yu Yan wasn't the Yu Yan who laughed and begged her for ice cream. She wasn't the one who had pillow fights with Ying Yue. She wasn't the clingy adorable woman who blushed when Ximen called her beautiful.

She looked so cold and cruel. The look she was giving Bai Xin Xin was enough to roast a meat and turn it black. The tension in the hallways quadrupled, everyone could feel it around them.

Soon enough, Xiaoyu's palms started sweating.

"Aiya, Ice witch, isn't that a diamond stud earrings on your ear, tell me, which sugar daddy do you sleep with now? " Pei GE asked and everyone noticed the cold look on Yu Yan's face soften. Though, nobody knew why, Xiaoyu knew exactly why.

Yu Yan could tolerate anyone insulting her, however, ever since childhood, she always lost every rationality when it came to her and Ximen. She remembered when always calm Yu Yan bit a boy so hard, she drew blood. All because he called Xiaoyu, fat.

"Tch, look at the sneakers on her legs, it costs at least fifty thousand yuan, tell me, where exactly did you steal it, or did that ugly old fat man give you? "Bai Xin Xin added fuel to the fire with a sneer.

A normal person would have insulted back or at least said something to defend their honor. However, Yu Yan did nothing of such. She didn't care, in fact her face gave off a whole look or irritation and nonchalance, making Bai Xin Xin look like a fool.

Xiaoyu was stupefied. In fact, the sneakers on Yu Yan's legs could be considered the least expensive she had. She wondered why some people were so stupid thinking one had to flaunt wealth if they had it.

Getting no reaction from Yu Yan, Bai Xin Xin and Pei Ge were getting angrier. They had planned to make a say at least something and beat her up or worst still engage in an argument with her. However, it all seemed boring as Yu Yan didn't even say a word back at them.

Seeing targeting Yu Yan wasn't working, Pei Ge decided to target the cute, short Xiaoyu next to her.

"At least when you steal, steal some for your slave, just, just look at her." Pei Ge snickered.

" Her entire body screams pauper, I wonder why she is in a school like ours, both of you, don't deserve to be here. Look at her, her shoes, she even can't wear a decent dress, so cheap." Bai Xin Xin added when she noticed Yu Yan's face twitch.

Xiaoyu was sad immediately. Though everyone knew she was poor and got to attend Winters Academy on scholarship, they never for once insulted her so much like that. She felt so embarrassed and looked down immediately.

Seeing Xiaoyu's flustered state, Yu Yan knew what she had to do. She had to break Bai Xin Xin's eleventh and twelfth floating ribs. She knew exactly how to do it.
