Only One Madam

— Lilith POV —

I knew that the meeting with our Grandparents was just a formality, Alexander had given me complete access to all the Harris family accounts when we were married.

I'd done the same when Grandpa said I would be managing our family's resources.

Despite everything just being a formality, I was over the moon with the fact that our grandparents now trusted us.

It was also great to have our grandmothers back.

I had wondered where they had gone and why they hadn't come back yet. I'd asked Alexi, Lex, and the grandfathers but Alexi and Lex only knew they went on their annual trip.

What remained a mystery to us, however, is why our Grandfathers had kept them from coming back.

Grandpa Luther knew just how important Grandma was to me. How I wished she was home, so why not tell her?

Maybe Alexi knew.

"He—"

I began to say as we entered the observatory only for me to stop as I was a sight that caught me off guard.
