Slowly one week passed and now only two weeks were left for Grandma Qin's surgery and slowly Zhi Ruo's engagement breaking off headlines alos cooled down. Su family was busy in handling the negative impacts from the news while tha Zhi family already stabilzed and were doing exceptionally well in terms of dealing with market impacts.

One such evening when Mr. Zhi was working in the company he received the news of Mr Qing asking to meet him. Asking his secretary to guide Mr. Qing to the personalized meeting room Mr. Zhi also started walking towards it. Thinking about the recent projects and all the opertaions of the company Mr. Zhi concluded that he himself or the company never had any interactions with the Qing family. Wondering about the reason Mr. Zhi reached the meeting room.

Inside the room When Mr. Zhi entered Mr. Qing bowed and greeted him followed by Mr. Zhi greeting him. After both of them were seated Mr. Zhi asked his secretary to bring some drinks and snacks.

After the secretary left, Mr. Zhi spoke

"We never had any interactions in any ways, then can I know the reason that Mr. Qing is here to visit me?"

Smiling Mr. Qing answered:" I am here not for professional reasons I am here for some personal reasons. "

Confused Mr Zhi asked "Personal reasons. I don't think we are related to each other personally in any way."

"You are indeed right, we aren't related, but..... does that mean we cannot be related??" Said Mr. Qing

"I am not intrested in....."

Before Mr. Zhi can complete his sentence Mr. Qing inturrepted him by saying:

" Hear me out first. I am here to talk about a marriage alliance between our only Son Qing Shan and your only daughter Zhi ruo. You already know about the Qing family and even we think that we know enough about you"

When Mr. Zhi denied to form any relationship with Qing family and rejected the marriage proposal even after mention many benefits of being in-laws with Qing's, Mr Qing had to finally use his trump card.

While Father Qing was leaving house in the morning he was called by Grandma Qing in the room. Asking Father Qing if he would be going to meet Mr. Zhi regarding the marriage proposal Grandma Qing passed him a envelope and told him to give it to Mr. Zhi if he dosent agrees to the proposal.

Listening his mother Father Qing didn't take the envelope and was about to leave with arguing that who can reject the Qing family's proposal when Grandma Qing told him that she was sure that the Zhi family will reject the alliance. Fcaed with the confidence that Grandma Qing had Ftaher Qing was determined to try his best which he obviously failed.

Passing the envelope to Mr. Zhi, Mr. Qing asked him to look at it once before giving his answer. Opening the envelope when Mr. Zhi opened the paper his eyes widened and his breathing quickened. Wondering what can be written in the paper to trigger such a big reaction Mr. Qing frowned.

Taking a deep breath Mr. Zhi calmed down, folded the paper, kept it back in the envelope, returned it to Mr. Qing and asked him to come with his family in the evening to discuss about it. Getting up from the couch Mr. Zhi bowed and left after saying that his secretary will guide Mr. Qing to the exit.
