Dear Host, you love living on the edge

Izo and Lei have been listening to them. They don't disturb the moment between Huang Qiuyan and Fu Mian until they hear Huang Qiuyan say the word 'blood coagulation'. Izo's stoic face cracks and he covers his mouth to stop himself from laughing, earning a glare from Lei. 

Huang Qiuyan turns around. Izo is trying his best not to laugh at his queen's words since it's a big offense and Lei is bowing his head apologetically.

"You are here." She's not surprised to see them. Instead, she's relieved. Since they are here, she can leave now. 

"My queen." Lei comes forward with his head bowed. Since the king and the queen have bonded, they have already accepted her as their queen. "Please come with us. His majesty, the king, will meet you in the castle."

That castle at the top of the mountain... There are no stairs to it. Last time, she had to jump to escape. If Fu Sheng didn't catch her in the midway, she might have died in a painful manner. Then, she tried kicking him in that place. 

[Dear Host, your kick had little effect. You saw it later, didn't you? Don't try fighting him. If you punch there again, he might think that you are groping him.]

Huang Qiuyan blushes. 

[Dear Host, if you want to grope him, you can do it. I don't mind. Having sex with him is beneficial for you.]

She coughs lightly, dismissing the thoughts. She feels hot suddenly.

[Dear Host, the bond is disadvantageous though.]

She sighs. "Take Fu Mian with you. I am going on my way."

It's better to stay as far as possible from Fu Sheng and the hunters. She needs to find a super quick way to break the bond.

"Nooooooo~" Fu Mian grabs her leg. "You can't go, Mommy. I came out of the castle to find you."

[Dear Host, remember that she's extremely harmful to your existence. Even one accidental touch of her blood would burn you alive.]

[I hear you.]

"My queen, if you don't come with us, both of us will be punished," Izo tells her nervously. Klyn was punished. Their king isn't in a good mood. If they lose the queen, he's sure that they would be joining Klyn there. That place is worse than death.

"Mommy, you can't leave me." Big round drops of tears roll out of Fu Mian's eyes, making Huang Qiuyan's heart ache. Huang Qiuyan can't handle children's cries, especially if the child is cute like Fu Mian. She's always been a sucker for cute children.

Fu Mian has noticed it. Pretty Eyes told her to do this. "I will be lonely without you. I will always be a good daughter. I will always listen to you. I will eat on time and I will never leave the castle without your permission. Please be my mother."

Her voice is soft and begging. Huang Qiuyan's lips tremble. The system is panicking inside her brain. He can see that Fu Mian is emotionally blackmailing his host.

[Dear Host, don't.]

"If you don't come with me, I won't go back." Fu Mian adds, "I am afraid, Mommy. They will come and hurt me again. You have to come and protect me from bad people."

Izo sniffle. They failed their princess. She must have been tortured at the hunters' HQ. Lei can see through Fu Mian's facade. Huang Qiuyan and Izo have forgotten that they can smell fear if the human feels it. Lei hasn't forgotten it. The corner of his lips curls up. The queen is reluctant, but the princess will convince her.

"Mommy." Fu Mian cries harder. "I am scared. I don't want to get hurt again."

"Okay!" Huang Qiuyan gives in. Fu Mian has gone through a lot. It's natural that the little girl is scared. She carries her in her arms and pats the child's back. "I will go with you. Don't cry, Princess. Don't be scared anymore."

[Dear Host, you love living on the edge, don't you?]

[Why are you so cruel? She's a child.]

[Dear Host, she can kill you anytime.]

[Keep quiet.]

Fu Mian peeks at Pretty Eyes on the tree behind Izo and Lei. She winks at it sneakily and Pretty winks back.
