He's Back

At the border of the Anathema Kingdom, Christian found himself in the car, an irked expression on his face.

The guards stationed there weren't the usual border patrols; instead, they bore the insignia of Necrosis, unmistakably under the command of King Cyran which made Christian more provoked.

The air crackled with tension as the guards, with stern faces, signaled for the car to stop. Christian shot a suspicious look at Mazen, the driver, who looked at his Master in the rearview mirror and proceeded to drive through the barricade, slowing down to obey the order.

Mazen was curious by the abrupt shift in the atmosphere at the boundary as the insignias glinted menacingly in the low light, but Christian knew better.

The tension in the air was palpable as Gloria, her eyes flitting between the guarded insignias and Christian's simmering irritation, couldn't contain the frustration bubbling within her.
