Franklin lay on the ground passed out from the sheer force of the punch, adam charged up his nen again on his hand intending to finish him with one strike to the brain while there was no nen actively protecting his unconscious body when adam put up his hand to strike he heard the doors burst open to see Shizuku

shizuku is a petite young woman with short-layered black hair and brown eyes. She has a large bust, a slim waist, and wide hips. She wears a black turtleneck and jeans, accessorized with black-framed glasses and one of the phantom troupe who adam recognises.

"Come to save your friend have you but your a little too late," adam says as he brings his hand down at a superhuman speed

Shizuku reacts to the motion of Adams's hand disappearing in her sight and jumps towards him using her nen vacuum as a weapon prepared to hit adam with her immense strength

Adam chuckles at the slow speed shizuku comes towards him and knows she can't prevent him from finishing of franklin

However, when his hand is about to hit franklin his hand is stopped, adam looks down to see the interference and sees another member of the phantom troupe feitan

Feitan is short, lean, and muscular. He has black, mid-length hair, grey eyes, and a pale complexion. He wears dark, baggy clothes and a bandana sporting the trademark skull crest over his mouth.

Adam remembers feitan for his combat ability as he stands out from the rest of the phantom troupe. His extreme speed, great strength, and skill in swordsmanship, combined with his powerful Nen abilities, make him a deadly opponent. His strength of mind and ruthlessness allow him to act without hesitation.

This made adam somewhat warry as adam also uses his extreme speed to combat his opponents and allow for opportunities to strike when non can react.

After locking eyes with feitan they both disappeared in a blur only to reappear moments later in a deadlock of feitans hand against Adams fist, they kept repeating this with shizuku just staring at what was taking place before her unable to interfere in the battle of speed.

Although shizuku is a phantom troupe member and is plenty strong with superhuman strength and speed and proficient in nen with her own nen ability already, she is still on the weaker side in terms of speed compared to both feitan and adam.

She moves over to franklin and picks him up and goes to leave, letting feitan block adam while she takes franklin to safety to recuperate.

After seeing franklin being taken away adam decides to have a bit of fun

'If I manage to kill franklin in front of both of them I wonder what expressions they'll make and how the phantom troupe will react, that's sure to entertain me for a while.'

Adam then activates his nen ability that he's been working on since the end of the hunter's exam, he hasn't been able to fully transmute his nen yet due to the lack of depth of understanding that he has towards what he's trying to replicate even after many hours spent in the library researching but he was able to make his nen ability with a limited amount of transmuted aura what quickly exhausted him after using it

He calls it flash step, it combines with his speed and allows him to travel great distances but without much control

He transmutes a tiny amount of his aura into sunlight if nen users aren't covering their eyes with nen then they will also be blinded by the amount of light it produces, he then uses that nen and circulates it inside his legs allowing his receptors to react at an immense speed pushing his body to the limits he then uses his fast relax brought about by this and his strength to kick off the air particles and move in a straight line at godly speeds.

Using this he quickly reaches a speed feitan cant follow to crash into shizuku and franklin sending them flying until they crash through multiple walls and come to a stop with blood flowing out their mouths from the shock received reverberating through their internal organs

Feitan seeing this had his eyes go wide at the speed adam displayed and the amount f damage his allies took in that attack but he quickly refocused and sped to his allies and left while adam stood there watching barely supporting his upper body with his wrecked legs what didn't have enough nen to protect them from the explosive kick he used to propel himself
