Hunter X Hunter: Dungeon Mobs System

Hiruma, a twelve-year-old street-trained, eccentric, and abandoned child, is killed by a gas explosion caused by his carelessness. He awakens prisoner in the body of an eight-year-old. In a homicide-trained home where the masters secure their children's “brilliant” futures through bodily suffering and emotional wringing. — From his recently adopted wanker lifestyle to the whetting, dehumanizing, and gloomy power at his disposal… — The upsetting change, the nightmarish contrast, was an obvious extreme. However, the boy soon became aware of a critical issue: how was he to carve out his own free road when the dark path he should take appeared to have already been mapped out by those around him? After all, his hybrid “RPG-like system,” which could elicit sexual interest and mutual trust in creatures other than actual monsters, appeared to have spared him the gifts of coincidence and powerful magic.

Hiruma's Nen Chart

Tsubone was a Conjurer, but unquestionably not an average one.

On the way, she told Hiruma that her main Nen ability, her Hatsu, was called Rider's high. She also had another Hatsu she used for single 1v1 combat.

Tsubone's Rider High was a form of Conjuration, allowing her to morph into various vehicles. The vehicle forms used the Aura of whoever rode on her as the propellant, meaning she couldn't use this ability without a rider.

Hiruma already knew this.

He didn't know that the Aura propelling the vehicles didn't have to necessarily be Nen.

There was no restriction for non-users. Anyone could ride the vehicles if they had the vital force or stamina to handle the consumption.

The higher the number of riders, the faster the vehicles could go.

In addition to the motorcycle and Glider forms that Hiruma knew, Tsubone told him that she could take five other forms, some less armored than others.

Her strongest one was a military assault tank...

Though there was the need for a rider, her strength could be imagined, and she wasn't the Zoldyck's head butler for nothing.

Her Hatsu aside, she was strong and fast.

Fast enough to keep the pace of a Speed-of-Lightning Killua—when she wasn't transformed into her motorcycle yet.

Running next to the old woman, the newly revealed Specialist Hiruma couldn't be arrogant or complacent.

He had renounced the feelings.

"You can't be serious, Tsubone. Are you telling me these are my affinities?"

"Yes, Young master Hiruma, you're a different type of Specialist; I have seen some strange ones in my life, but those should be your Nen Chart relationships."

Hiruma and the old woman were sprinting at wearying speed toward a city where they would sleep at a Hotel before taking a boat when she drew in thin air through Transmutation.

Using Gyo, or rather a mix of his Combat and Field Masteries, Hiruma looked at the picture.

He was stunned.

He could have guessed as much on the way alone, but all his arrogance had left now. His uncertainties were cleared only when Tsubone showed him—without him asking how select he was.

Hiruma's Nen relationships happened to be something like this:

-Specialization=100%

-Manipulation=80%

-Conjuration=80%

-Emission=80%

-Transmutation=99.9%

-Enhancement=100%

Yes, it was a bit frightful.

According to Tsubone, and the only lie Hiruma had to keep, he should have been awakened as an Enhancer a year ago like he told...

She wasn't sure what happened during that year, but he followed the process of indirectly and lately awakened Specialists.

His undyed attribute was Enhancement. However, his Specialization swerved toward Transmutation for some reason.

This was why he only had a 99.9% affinity there. A full 100% didn't exist for Specialists, not even Kurapika with his Scarlet Eyes.

Even so, that 0.1% deficiency was obviously too insignificant of a factor. It could be ignored. More so for second-hand specialists with twofold attributes.

People like Hiruma basically became experts in some odd threefold class for free.

They were rare, but the small Zoldyck was the most uncommon with his Enhancement. He was a freak that should visit Ging to switch his name to Freecss.

It was just some wittiness in Hiruma's mind, of course.

Ging was different, surely. Manga readers speculated that he was an Emitter like Leorio. Others were sure that he was a Specialist.

But nobody truly knew. After all, the man showed powerful Manipulation, and Conjuration attributes throughout the Greed Island Arc when he wasn't even physically there.

Who could tell if he was a special enhancer like Hiruma? If so, his milk-buying skills wouldn't be the only legendary thing about him.

"This is astonishing if it's true."

Hiruma looked at his new Nen Chart and sighed.

Tsubone laughed.

She had a very strange but agreeable laughter. It was the laughter of a grandmother figure.

Done laughing, she said,

"The world is wide, young master Hiruma. I have seen many things, but I'm just as moved as you with this hypothesis."

Hiruma nodded, smiling.

The woman didn't seem wary of him after the discovery like he thought she would.

But then again, she never looked scared of Alluka.

"Let's hope you master your powers and a powerful Hatsu quickly, young master. Meanwhile, let's accelerate and get to our first stop. We have other investigations to run on you.

The sweating and physical exertion will benefit us both."

"Okay."

Hiruma nodded again.

He had learned that, long ago, Tsubone was a famous female Athlete before she joined the Zoldyck House.

She was actually fit to be a coach in several ways.

The two of them could have used her Rider's High, but she was impatient to test the limits of her brand-new charge.

She said she would train him whenever they had the time, just like now, since the mission would only start in a few days.

Having a lot to learn, even with his cultivation like Everyday Mastery, Hiruma didn't disapprove.

The body was the origin of Nen. With a stronger body, the stronger the Nen would be.

That concept was proven by the Chimera Ants, who were monstrous from birth. After only awakening Nen, and for some, even before they could fight with Hunters.

The guards and the King, born with superhuman bodies and more fearsome Nen, didn't need to be brought up.
