Hunter in Black

This is a world of combat and magic, where adventurers thrive, leveling up, and killing monsters for loots and glory. But that's not the story I'm here to tell. Decades have passed since All-father, the world's Creator, ended the ever catastrophic conflict between humans and dragons. Lives have fallen from both sides, leaving humanity only able to support their last haven, the capital city of Ratna Kingdom. And now that they're at their weakest, someone wanted to carve a tombstone for their grave. He was called the Pretender, a figure disguised as All-father himself. He travels through the continent with a quest to gather forces from those who fell victim to humanity's sins. If no one puts an end to this act, then catastrophe will surely come knocking on the kingdom's door. So a call was made to prevent this. A Veteran Hunter and his apprentice were dispatched to take down each of the leaders under the Pretender's influence. He himself was a mysterious one, dressed in black, hiding behind a bear mask. Not a lot was known about the Hunter, not his race, not his family, not his face. Though one thing is for sure, he's damn good at his job.

Sunless Farm pt. 4

While the other three were busy playing with the golems, Blaz went straight for the Watcher's head. Due to having a sword as one of his symbols, Blaz got a lot of agility and speed to dodge every single attempt the remaining golems threw at him. And finally, his blade went slashing straight toward the skinny dwarf's throat.

Or at least, it should've been like that.

"I see… should've expected you to be a rune caster."

Blaz's sword got completely held by a magic shield made out of a combination of runes which created some type of magic circles. And with its capability to actually deflect a melee attack, then the Watcher is either a bearer of the cross symbol or someone who passed the level 101 milestone.

"I don't remember having an appointment with an earth elf." Said the watcher. His glowing golden eyes were staring down at Blaz, sharper than a knife edge.

"Well, we don't remember doing something deserving an attack." The elf replied.
