Humans, Gods, and Everything In Between

Dylan should've been the king of gods, Alexander should have been a merciless god of war, Skyler should've been the god of seas and storms. But Dylan was tired of being restrained by the others and regained his godly powers and his title as a chaos god. And the others need to stop him before it's too late. Justin should have said how he felt but now he wanders the old world searching for Chris. Jacob should have accepted the truth now he can’t accept lies. Alexander rejoins have fought back the first time, now he’s going in for any kill he can get. This is my first novel and I hope everyone enjoys it. It’s about people who just can’t die no matter how many times they’re killed. They also have powers like fire or metal, so they have been dubbed gods. They separated into factions long ago, the two main ones being order and chaos, and they were the most powerful of the factions. But they were always at war. Now the war has been brought to public and everything just gets really interesting. Read, enjoy, comment. Get to 7k views and 10 comments for me to continue writing.

The primordial domain

Grace was silent as she and Dylan walked through the mossy caves. She remained behind him bow drawn and arrow ready. They came out of the small tunnel and into a beautiful cavernous space full of stalagmites, flowers, moss, and strangely enough creatures of every kind. Grace was transfixed by a three headed lion with scales in place of the fur and with a color changing mane. In the center of the room was a man dressed in the moss covering the room, bent over a pedestal made of a stalagmite. Grace wound her way to the front side of him and noticed him fiddling with a sort of clay. Dylan cleared his throat and the man jumped dropping the clay.

"Who are you!" The man exclaimed in a mix of German and Chinese.

"I am the king of the gods, and you must be the maker of life." Dylan responds. "And I believe you can help me." Dylan then removes a dead hand from a bag at his waist.

"This is the hand of the god of metal and earth. I need you to make me a more powerful blacksmith from your clay there and this arm." Dylan explained, he had kept the knowledge of this hand from Grace, but she wasn't going to question his methods. She could still bleed, for she was careful.

"And what if I don't make this blacksmith for you?"

"Then all of your blood will be drained drop by drop." Dylan said in a tone of boredom, he would soon lose his patience.

"Then I'll get right to work."

Dylan had readied his plan for decades, he had kept notes for everything and recorded the other gods behaviors as to track what they were likely to do. He had drawn out diagrams for the blacksmith he would make, but one in particular felt right. It was a behemoth standing eight feet tall with four large arms, it's head could open in half revealing all of the teeth it had and it could heat anything with it's touch. And it was made perfectly, it had rough black hands that feel like burnt flesh and the rest of it was a terrifying shade of white, even the eyes.

The first thing Dylan ordered for this beast to make was a crown with godlike powers. The crown was given to Jordan, so he may better help Dylan's cause.

Jordan thought of what he could do with this crown. As soon as it was rested upon his head he felt the power radiating from its three gems. And he loved it. Jordan remembered his childhood and being hit by the bigger children, he hated them so much. Then he met a man named Gordon who helped him. Gordon had scared the kids with his eyes. His eyes turned red and leaked blood. The other children ran away and never hurt Jordan again. And Jordan had repaid his dept by helping another chaos god, Dylan, to change the world.
