Registration and Examination

After entering the city I look around for a bit and then check into the most expensive hotel because it was evening, after booing the inn, I don't go to my room instead went to the ladro institute for registering for its test.

After asking around for its location I was in front of ladro institute entering I head to the registering table and registered after paying the 100 goals fees, the exam was tomorrow, and I would not have made it in time but my traveling speed was faster because than souta because I do t have to stop from village to village to rest so I covered more ground.

Then after registering, I head back to the inn and have some food then I head to bed.

Walking up the next day I enter my sub-world to do some light work out then come back to my room and changed my clothes I just have to think about the clothes I want to wear and they appear on my body I imagined normal sweat shirts and pants to appear then I had breakfast and headed towards ladro institute for the examination.

Leo arrived 10 minutes before the exam he looked around and observe everyone in the class, his gaze landed on souta who was also staring at him, then he looks at the girl beside Souta noticing his gaze the girl turns and looks at him with her cold eyes.

Looking at Alice I maintain a cool facade outside but on the inside, I was freaking out thinking 'Damm she looks beautiful, after calming down I look at the slab and the number on it was 53 calmly walked towards my seat which was beside souta and sits down.

While we were waiting for the exam to start I feel a tap on my shoulder and turn to see it was souta

"Hello, my name is souta" he introduced himself

"Oh, hello my name is Leo", I said while shaking his outstretched hand.

"So are you feeling confidant in passing the exam" he asks

"Ya it should be easy" I answer confidently, well I didn't study anything but with the help of great sages' ability [All of creation] I can easily score full marks on the test.

Then I and souta started conversing, in the middle of our conversation I extend my hand and introduced myself to Alice, looking at my stretched-out hand she completely ignores it and says "Alice" in a cold tone and turns around. Looking at this souta laughs.

"The silent type huh", well doesn't matter we will have a lot of time to continue our conversation later, some time later the examiner walks in as he enters everyone in the class stares at him he coughs and introduces himself.

Then explains about the exam and its two stages, first was a written test, and the after it will be a practical, he continues and says that the cutoff marks are 70 and starts the exam.

As he says this everyone starts writing the exam and i mentally communicate with great sage,

'Sage do your magic'

Then sage quickly analyses the paper and starts to tell me the answers mentally, as time passes and the exam continues more and more people complete their exam, the first one is obviously Leo due to great sage telling him all the answers.

Leo gets up from his seat and heads toward the examiner and behind were souta and Alice, after handing over the test paper the examiner instructs us to head to the training ground for the practical exam, and as they left more and more people handed their paper and followed them to the training ground.

As they followed the person guiding them, they reached a wide open area which was in fact the training grounds of this institute as the examinees reached the center the guide left them and said that the examiner of this test will be here shortly.

After waiting for around five minutes, the examiner shows up and introduced himself, and explains this part of the exam which was to see the potential of the examinees who are going to be the students of this institute.

Then starts the exam and just like in the novel souta volunteers to go first and everyone takes some distance from them and the examiner starts the exam, and as the fight progresses I instruct great sage to analyze them and the spells they use along with their battle style.

As the battle continues I hear a person beside me "Wow, he is strong to be able to fight the examiner head on", looking to my left I see a boy wearing a simple white shirt and black pants he has short spiky black hair and some strands of his hair fell on his forehead. He has pitch-black eyes and his build was average, not too thin and also not too bulky.

Realizing this was Brayan I look towards him and say "Well the examiner is holding back a lot, if he fights seriously he could one-shot souta"

Hearing this he replies "I know but still he is strong, by the way, my name is Bryan Dagruel" introducing himself he extends his hand.

Shaking his hand I reply "Leo, you can call me Leo, hope we get along well in the future"

"So your confidant that you will pass the exam" Brayan says

"Yes, I am confident, and are you?"

"Yes I'll pass the practical but don't know about the written test" Bryan replies

Then we continued our conversation till the fight finished, it ended in the same fashion as in the novel and souta comes in my direction, then the examiner calls for the next student seeing this i raise my hand and headed to the center

"Good luck" Bryan and Souta who just arrived say in unison, coming to the center the examiner says the same thing he said to souta that if I land a hit on him in one minute that is enough.

Then the bell rings and we start our battle.
