The Leaderboards

Summer City, inside an ordinary household.

"How long till the first exam is over?" A middle-aged man washed his hands in the sink. He finished baking cookies for his two children.

"Only hour!" His anxious wife shouted from the living room. She was a decent-looking middle-aged woman with fatigued-looking eyes. She looked at the stream on the laptop, which showed the Archeologist Academy's exam. It was also streamed for a large audience.

The middle-aged man placed the cookies in a bowl and then placed it on the cupboard. He then returned to the living room and sat beside his wife. After wrapping his arm around her shoulder, he cast his gaze at the laptop's square screen.

"How is West doing?" He asked.
