After arriving at Dig Street, Jason stopped beside a shop window that showed his reflection. He fixed the black cloth that covered half of his face and then made sure the hood was placed correctly to hide the rest of his noticeable features.
Then he walked to 9 Dig Street, which had a five-story apartment. The house looked empty, as the windows showed a dark interior, and the yard was unkempt.
Jason walked to the front door and knocked on the door. He waited with his heart's beat resounding in his ears. He felt nervous, and rightfully so. He was most likely going to meet the rest of the members of the secret organization, and he still didn't completely trust Alpha and his sob story.
After waiting for some time, he heard footsteps nearing the door. A shadow appeared below the door.
Jason looked straight at the eyehole, knowing the person on the other side was also looking through it.
"Name?" A raspy voice resounded behind the door.
