Grand Circus

A pair of male elven guards stood at the metal gate of the Royal Castle. They looked very serious, as if everyone walking by was their enemy. They were gate guards at Royal Castle, the home of the Elf Goddess.

They were already punished and almost fired as a clown-masked man managed to sneak inside the Royal Castle without them noticing a thing. He used the disguise of one of their fellow guards, but that didn't change a thing. In the eyes of everyone, they were at fault.

Therefore, they were now working extra hard, as were the other guards. They didn't want to disappoint their queen any more.

At that moment, a black-clothed figure appeared in the middle of the street. All pedestrians walked by him as if he didn't exist. He snapped his fingers, using his thumb and middle finger.
