Information is Power

"Well first things first, can you guys tell me everything about this realm?" interest filled Arthur's eyes as he looked at both the archer and old man with respect. Information is power and what Arthur lacked was information.

He obviously needed information regarding this new world he was transported to. Everything in this world was surprising to him even though his face didn't show it. His demeanor towards the two was both caution and interest.

"Why the hell should I tell you? Huh? Give me a good reason to not slit your throat right now!" the archer said with an angry tone looking at him tightly gripping the oversized blade in her hand, she was still shocked that he had multiple Wills but her pride won't let her let it off easy knowing that her Will was dispersed by one of his Wills.

"Little girl, don't be like that, this youth has traveled from another world possibly even from another realm and he isn't even a ranker." the old man said calmly with a soothing voice.

"Where he came from has nothing to do with me! He should even be alive in the first place! My Will is Will of Soul Erosion that means you should be withering in agony like the ant you are!" the archer let out a loud voice towards Arthur.

The situation in front of him made him worried as he might not get information at all instead he might be killed, after all, then that would mean all his efforts up to this point meant nothing. At this point, the archer had reached her limit and can't let the youth in front of him live as her Will was something that her great-grandfather gave her as he died.

Her great-grandfather was a master assassin that has reached had reached the pinnacle only among his peers from Sage Stage reaching until Wisp Stage Stage. Compared to him, the female archer got caught and sent into the arena, her Will rendered uselessly and even lost face in terms of ability against this youth.

Her eyes gleamed with killing intent towards Arthur, suddenly she can't take it anymore and tried to slice off the head of the youth but in the same instance, the old man appeared in front of her with a dominating aura. The old man then swiftly took the blade and broke it with his own two hands. The archer felt that if she made another move her very own life would be taken even faster than the time it took the old man to break her sword.

"Hmph! Even though you are part of the Silent Assassins Guild I will not hesitate to chop off your head if you dare try to harm the youth again!" These words echoed in the mind of the female archer as she was frozen in fear. Meanwhile, Arthur was surprised at what just happened everything happened all at once and even if he tried his best he wouldn't even be able to see anything other than a blur.

"Ha? You know that I am part of the Silent Assassins Guild yet you have the audacity to charge at me?" even though her body was frozen she could still try to save face. The old man did not budge a single millimeter when she said this. In comparison, even King Rhast would be respectful to this Guild as it was stronger than him and could utter a single sentence to end his life.

"Old man, I am grateful but I have to know why you would choose to help me?" Arthur asks as he needs to know why.

"Simple, you have traveled across worlds or even across realms this feat is difficult even for Great Sage Rankers to achieve!" The old man said enthusiastically while restraining the archer into the ground.

"Now that this annoying brat is down, let us introduce ourselves my name is Joseph Tampus, will you tell this old man your name?" the old man said.

"Uhh... yes! My name is Arthur Reeve, it's nice to meet you!" Arthur immediately answered the old man.

"Brat, introduce yourself!" Joseph shouted at the female archer while threatening her.

"MIA! My name is Mia Amir! Not that you worthless trash have the right to say my name!" Mia arrogantly said.

"In regards to your question let me answer them!" Joseph answered with a soothing voice.

He learned about world laws (Refer to Chapter 2), the place where he currently resides and the situation he currently is in.

"That's a lot of information to take in," Arthur said while he was sitting down on a crappy bed.

There are 6 Realms in total and the one he is in is the 6th Realm, Roax, and in each realm, there are countless worlds and in those countless worlds are limitless lands that could stretch on forever. The world he is on is called Regris one of the lower-middle class worlds that the land Rhast is in. In this land, there is a King Stage Ranker named King Rhast.

There are also people who strengthen themselves and they are called Rankers.

Within these ranks, one doesn't have to necessarily have to go through all of the stages to go to the next stage. There are multiple ways to progress within these ranks and not everyone has the same requirements as the others. For example, one can go from an Adult Stage to Wisp Stage skipping the majority of the rank but the drawback would be a weaker foundation and limitation of progression in the ranks making it possible that the person cannot go further than Wisp Stage.

In short, going through more ranks, in the end, makes you much stronger than those who skipped ranks. Having a more stable foundation leads to a better chance to reach higher ranks, like how the strength of a foundation of a building limits how high it can go.

With so many worlds, there would be also multiple races and these races all aim for one of their species to be a deity because once one's species achieves a deity their whole species will prosper and will have more body strength, soul, magic, and talent than the other species that don't have a deity. The only thing that doesn't change is how one acquires Will, either being born with it, being bestowed upon you like an inheritance or forming it within yourself and there are very strict requirements on how the Will that you could create.

Will show the favor of the Deities. These Wills act out the laws of the realms where no single person could break and any form of defiance will be punished by the Tribulation Of The 6 Godly Realms and Tribulation Of The 8 Ancient Magics. The laws of the realms are stated differently each time and every single Wil that is on every realm signifies being blessed by the 4 Original Ancient Deities, the Deity of life, the Deity of death, the Deity of war, the Deity of peace.

These deities' will cannot be ignored or defied as they have almost total control over all the 6 realms. They only have almost full control as different deities rose up over the millions of years that they have lived and examples of these are: the Deity of Demons and Deity of Gods. These two Deities are the first Deities other than the 4 Original Ancient Deities, therefore, they have more power than the newer Deities that have been ranking up throughout their lifetimes.

But there is another Deity that seems to break the norm of the longer one is at Deity rank the stronger they are and that is the Deity of Humans. The Deity of Humans was a legendary figure that the humans in this realm seem to worship as if she was the actual god that created them but alas she disappeared only leaving her figure behind.

That was a long time ago when the three major forces fought in the war called "Faith's Intent". No one knew why the war was called that or any specific details at all, they only knew that it was a 3-faction war that consisted of The 4 Original Ancient Deities, The Deities of God and Demons alongside some willing races and The Deity of Humans. They knew that this war was a 3-way tie, knowing this one could imagine the power that the Deity of Humans held being able to fight against the 4 Original Ancient Deities and The Deities of Gods and Demons. Also that it ended with the disappearance of the Deity of Humans leaving a large hole in history.

"Sorry... I just can't memorize everything all at once." Realizing that there was were so many things to understand in this world and its background.

"Fair enough." the old man let out a sigh.

"Now, I would like to ask why were you sent here in this place called Colosseum of Guilt?" Arthur asks Joseph.

"Simple, we have committed crimes considered as heinous crimes in the kingdom," Joseph answered without changing his expression.

"Then what did you do to be sent here?" Arthur starts to breathe in cold air.

"Hmph! A little kid like you should just---" Joseph knocks Mia unconscious.

"She shot an arrow towards King Rhast but missed hitting his advisor instead while I killed a bandit faction but apparently I killed an agent undercover." Joseph still had an unchanging expression.

"I see..." Arthur murmured to himself.
