Chapter: The Approaching Storm

"Destroy the Anunnaki? Isn't it a little too early for that, Hades?" Inquired Zane. He was left astonished upon hearing that Hades was ready to initiate the next stage of the plan.

"I know it seems early, but I think now would be the best time to strike."

"How? We've barely gained the Anunnaki's trust, Hades! We need more time if we want things to go smoothly."

"Zane, I understand where you're coming from... However, no one said we needed to gain their complete trust. Once the Anunnaki trusts you enough to listen to what you have to say, then the plan can be a success."

Zane gritted his teeth. He understood Hades' reasoning. For their plan to work, they did not need to gain the complete trust of the Anunnaki. As long as the Anunnaki was willing to listen to what Zane had to say, it would be enough to persuade them into falling into his trap.

"Okay. What do you propose then?" Suddenly asked Layla, stepping forward.
