Follow Zane through his suffering and constant mistakes as he meets both friends and foes on his journey to stay alive. Will he be able to survive? Or will he find the power to do much more..? ***** NB: This is not a Cultivation or System novel. It is an end of the world book. Chapter: Evolve

Neptune was dead. He had been killed in an instant by Hera. Minerva stood frozen in horror with the aid of the paralysis Hera had cast upon her. Things were looking very dim.

"Neptune!!" Screamed Minerva desperately.

Sadly, the dead could not speak. Minerva's cries would not be answered.

Hera then slid her fingers around Minerva's neck teasingly. Though there was no way she could pierce her armor-like skin, it would be an easy task to melt it with her body acid. She could take Minerva's life whenever she was ready.

"Before I kill you, I have a question. How do we stop the infected's attack?"

"Why are you asking? You could find out by taking my brain!"

"I see you're quite eager to die. Well then, let me end your miserable life!"
