Chapter 18

"I can't believe I'm letting you do this." I sit stark naked in a tub in the middle of the room. This has to be the most embarrassing thing for me.

"If you don't sit still I can't scrub your back well."

"I just don't feel comfortable with a stranger…um, a beautiful stranger running her hands over my body."

"Don't be embarrassed. I can't see you anyways."

A melodic laugh escapes Huehue's lips.

"No, but you can feel your way around and that's just as embarrassing…the most embarrassing thing I've had to do today."

"You say that every day."

"Yes. And?"

"You know that it is not the most embarrassing." I look at where she is hinting with her tail.: a huge green ceramic bowl, just under the bedframe. She starts to giggle at my silence.

"Hmph! Well, maybe I'm just getting used to it."

"My nose isn't. And I have the olfactory of a…"

"Yes, yes. A coyote." I grumble and try to wiggle my way around her but she has a firm grip. She howls approval. A chuckle escapes me.

"Let's get you dry and dressed."

"How about you just lead me to the bench and I'll try to dress without stumbling?"

"Sure. But ask if you can't pull up your pants. I don't want you to fall again."

My face burns hot but she doesn't notice. But I do see a big smirk drawn upon her face.
