Chapter 3 The Sun God

It's been a while since Rahul's parents had abandoned him and Parshuram found him in some alleyway of Mumbai.

When he was unconscious Parshuram who had already discovered Indra and Surya Dev called upon the two fools and without any other choice the two of them immediately responding to his call arrived in the ally before asking for his commands.

After a good scolding for breaking the decision of the factions and them asking for mercy, Parsuram asked them to gift something good to Rahul whom he had taken a liking to and decided to take as a personal student because of his good character.

In response, Indra gave Rahul the Armor of Karen that can protect him from any kind of injuries or attacks as long as the light of the Sun or Moon reached him.

However, he also explains even if he is giving the armor to Rahul he is not sure if the boy will be able to use the armor when it is the armor that can choose its master and it is also important to mention Indra can not use the armor.

So if the armor is to reject the boy he won't be responsible.

This also showed how cunning he is.

However, when the armor touched the young boy it instantly mergers itself with the young child as Parshurama confirmed it has accepted Rahul as it is new master and to everyone's surprise he also explains the armor doesn't have the restrictions of Sun and Moonlight anymore however the kid needs to use his energy to use the armors healing ability.

This makes Indra quite frustrated and without any more argument, he left the ally after asking for permission not even caring about the present that Surya Dev can gift the kid as he doesn't remember anything more valuable in Surya Dev's position than the armor.

After Indra left Surya Dev was in deep thought but didn't find anything noteworthy to gift the kid when Indra Dev has gifted something so precious as the armor.

So he asks to teach his years of knowledge to the kid just like how he did with Hanuman many years ago.

Hearing the suggestion from Surya Dev made Parsuram ponder for a while and he knew the kid isn't strong enough to handle his weapon training at this age and with the limited knowledge the children of modern age Rahul might not even understand even the surface of his teaching.

So he also agreed to allow Surya Dev to teach Rahul.

However before, Surya Dev takes Rahul to teach Parsuram also asked for a few days so he can introduce Rahul to the supernatural world and the person who will be his teacher.

After which Parsuram room Rahul to the mountains and when he woke up Rahul was surprised to find himself alive and then he discovered Parsuram and his surroundings making him worried however soon Parsuram explained the situation before giving Rahul a new identity and it is the grandson of Parsuram and his new name will be Aarush.

Although Aarush stayed with Parshuram for a while, however, it was also quite hard for him to believe in the supernatural world but his young age of 10 where he has yet to see the vast world made him believe the existence of the Supernatural very easily especially when the truth is in front of him.

By a month he started calling Parsuram grandfather because of his kindness when Surya Dev received a call and came to take Aarush to teach.

This brings us to the present day which is around a month from when Aarush's family had abandoned him and he had got a new family who showed almost the same amount of love as his real family.

Today when he returns with the water pot in his hand he saw a middle-aged man sitting not far from his grandfather and asks who is the man with a curious face as Parsuram explained "This here is Surya Dev and he will be your teacher from now on.

Aarush, greet your teacher."

"I am honored to be a student of the Great Sun God." said Aarush pleasing both of his hands together to show respect to Surya Dev.

"I am also happy to have you as my student for you remind me of one of my Son and your selflessness makes me find his image in you every time I look at you." said Surya Dev with a smile as he looked at Aarush's eyes that is so pure without any kind of malicious intent that made him think this boy might be purer than the light of the Sun.

"I am truly honored by your praise." said Aarush with a smile while scratching the back of his head in embarrassment before asking with a curious face "If you don't take my words as guilt, then can I ask you to be kind enough to inform me about the identity of your son?"

"Sure it's not a big deal." said Surya Dev with a smile as he felt glad to know Aarush want to know about his son before he explained "You might know my son as the Hero of Charity or some would call him as King Karna."

"The one who was the most favorite student of grandfather and after whom he had yet to take anyone as a student?" Aarush asks with an uncertain tone.

"Yes, it is exactly the one you have mentioned." said Surya Dev with a smile.

"Yes he was my most favorite student and I regretted cursing him in anger at that time, of not with the great skills that he learned from me on all the weapons, I am sure no one would be able to fight against him on equal ground in that war.

Not to mention Arjun who only learned the basics of the Art of Archery from a student of mine." said Parsuram in regret as he remembers the events from the past.

"You don't need to feel regret for his death Lord Parsuram because if it was not for Indra and his dark intentions, I am sure Karna would not be in danger.

However, he was also a human so death was bound to come after him. Sofh~" said Surya Dev with a sigh as he tried to reassure Parsuram.

"You are right about that, one who has taken birth then it is impossible for them to not test the pain of Death." said Parsuram with a deep sigh.

"Grandfather if Karna was that greater than Arjun why is he not called the greatest Archer in history?"
