26 Chapter 26 : Troll In The Dungeon 3

His wand by now was oozing with his magic, like a sharp dagger on his hand.

He held the wand just like a dagger with both hands with a reverse grip and shouted while falling towards Troll's head, ready to pierce him.

"Surprised Mother F*cke...."

Then Hermione, Rose and Ron watch their friend, stab a Troll with his 12-inch-long Wand on the head.

The entire wand went inside the head of the Troll. All of them were wide eyes and needed much time to process just what was going on.

Orion though didn't just stop by simply killing the Troll. This was a really good chance to absorb the little amount of magic which the Troll had and he did just that.

Before the Troll could fall down to the floor, Orion grabbed the Troll, still holding his wand like a dagger. And started absorbing magic with incredible speed.

This was the first time he actually absorbed someone's else magic after he fought with the Vampire.

He notices that this technique doesn't just set everything on fire if he absorbs a magical creature's magic. The last time was mostly like an accident or something which that vampire did. 

And the effects of his absorbing the magical power of the Troll were apparent. He could visibly notice that his magical power was improving.

Maybe he could have noticed the change because his magical power was already very low but it was apparent.

"What's going on here," Professor McGonagall with other professors came in the bathroom at that time.

Orion who was still feeling his increased magical power while holding a bloodied wand and standing on top of the Troll's corpse looked almost like a serial killer to the adult who came.

"Snape will try to get inside your head, make sure that you are ready," Merlin reminded Orion who was still on the Dopamine Rush about killing a Troll with his own hand. It was like John Wick killing three men in a bar with a Pencile Situation.

Orion after hearing this quickly took a deep breath and and sorted his memories. Making sure that he is not hiding that he killed the Troll and how he killed the Troll. Why did he develop this kind of spell which made his wand a magical dagger? He makes sure that Snape sees Draco bullying him and this leads to him making this spell.

The only thing that he didn't want to see was how he created this technique. How he absorbs the Troll's magic and lastly his Runic weapon and his proficiency in Runes.

"Potter, how come you are here, I clearly remember you are going with another Gryffindor," Snape directly targeted Rose.

But honestly, he was more worried for her than angry or just directly targeting her.

"Mr Ambrosius, what are you doing," Professor McGonagall asked with a scandalized tone.

Orion who had his head down, sorting his me, finally looked up and immediately got invaded by a mental prompt from Snape.

"Hermione was not in the hall when Professor Quirrell announced about the troll. I was worried and came after her," Orion said as this explained everything.

"You killed the Troll," Snape asked but he already knew that answer. In fact, he was amazed at what Orion just did.

"How did you kill that troll," Flitwick asked with curiosity. He too saw the dead Troll with a bullet-sized hole in his head while Orion standing on top of the Troll with a blood-stained wand.

Orion first looked at the professors and then this wand and then back to the professors.

"I did, if it's not already obvious," Orion just shrugged.

It took some time to explain to the professors what happened.

By the end of it, every professor was amazed at what Orion just did. Being able to kill Mountain Troll for a first year is unheard of. Let alone done by a boy who suffers from magic deficiency.

And when they heard how exactly Orion killed the Troll. It was even more of a shocker.

Snape even after seeing Orion's memories couldn't believe it and bent down to test the corpse on his own.

"Ambrosius what you did was very dangerous, 5 points from Gryffindor, same with you Granger," Snape said.

"And 10 points for each one of you to take down the fully grown mountain Troll," Flitwick said right after Snape deducted the points.

There was a smile on the face of Rose, Ron and Hermione's faces.

Orion though didn't smile, he just nodded and went out with his friends.

"That was wicked," was the first thing which Ron right after getting out of the bathroom.

"Are you all right, you got hit by the troll back then," Hermione removed Ron and looked around Orion to see any damage.

There was nothing more than a small scratch on Orion's face. 

Rose was doing the same. Looking around Orion.

All three of them still were having difficulty believing just how Orion killed that Troll.

"Why were you in the Bathroom and didn't join the dining hall," Orion asked first.

Hermione at this flinch a little. Orion was looking pretty serious after seeing just how he killed a mountain Troll. It was pretty intimidating.

"I was, hmm. I was crying," Hermione said. It was pretty funny how she acted like an 8-year-old at this time.

"What made you cry," Orion already knew that answer but asked anyway to see Ron's reaction.

He was not disappointed when he saw the boy flinch after his question.

"It's nothing, you don't have to worry about it, Hermione replied.

Orion didn't say anything more. He already accomplished what he wanted to by asking the question. He just said this before going to his dorms. 

"I consider you a friend. All three of you. Remember that. We all might be different and that's fine. It's what difference about us makes us who we are. Don't think too much about getting acceptance from others. Not everyone gonna do that and that is normal. Just remember that there are your friends who accept you for who you are," Orion said with a smile and then got inside the boy's dorms.

All three of them looked a little confused but a the same time also happy with smiles on their faces.

While they were happy that they finally became friends. Orion rushed towards his dorm and asked with excitement.

'Check it, how much do you think it is.,' Orion asked Merlin.

It was of course asking about his power. He just absorbed magic from a troll and wanted to know about his own power now.

"Hmm, well compared to a normal first-year student, now your power is around 30% to 40% of theirs" Merlin asked with a smile, knowing fully well that this much power is enough to do all the basic spells which Orion was not able to do before.

Orion didn't wait and immediately took out his wand and said.

"Lumos,"

And then he saw a bright light forming on the tip of his wand. Not a dull dying light but a really bright light he can actually use in the dark.

A/N: I was not planning to try this chapter and directly end the Troll incident with little explaining but that explanation took an entire chapter. It is strange how a small topic becomes an entire chapter when so many characters are present and I have to give every one reaction.
