Chapter 236 : Masters And Servants 1

Out of smoke and lightning came Outrider. One of Orion's favorite characters in Fate Zero. This man has charisma, that's for sure. There was also a skinny boy riding beside him on his cart.

'Most likely his master.' 

Everyone was stunned and cautious of the new master and servant appearing in the scene. 

"Velvet, so you were the one who stole my artefact. I should have known." kayneth said as he glared at Velvet with a piercing look. The said boy was now covering in fear as he was holding onto the cart, which by the way was pulled by a bull, super cool. 

Velvet didn't say anything, he just kept quiet, seeing this Rider spoke first.

"Hahaha boy come on, cowering like that doesn't suit you. And you, who might you be." Rider asked with his usual laugh. 

"Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald" Kayneth just replied without any particular emotion. 

'How the hell he even say that name without getting his tongue twisted a few dozen times,' this was out of Orion's comprehension.

"Ah I see, so you must be Lancer's master. And you must be Saber, I presume that man unconscious or the woman cradling the man, is your master." Rider smiled as he saw how both Lancer and Saber were protecting their masters.

Which leads him to finally look towards Orion. 

"And boy what about you? Are you also a master of some sort." He asked with amusement. 

"Yeah kind of, I'm master of my fate and captain of my soul." Orion wink. Though honestly, he was feeling a little self-conscious. Why he is the only one without any servant to flaunt to? 

"Huh.... Hahahahahahahahahahahahah" 

"That's nice. Haha, you are amusing." Rider laughed while others gave Orion a look. 

'What, that the best comeback came to me. I don't even need servants. I can take all of you alone, god damit.' 

But that didn't go on for long as soon as Lancer and Saber asked. 

"Rider, why are you here? Why stop our fight." 

"Ah, well I am here to join the fight. I Iskandar the king of conqueror is here to recruit you to join my cause." Rider said with much drama in his voice. 

Orion just looks at this with a little second-hand embarrassment, though he likes the man becuase of his personality but most of the time he kind of acts childish and idiotic. 

While their chit-chat was going on, suddenly Orion felt a ripple in the space. He was the first one to snap his head towards the golden dust gathering. Soon a blond man wearing golden armor and an arrogant look appears on top of a street light. 

'Ah here we go, the most narcissistic asshole of all assholes is here.' Orion just rolled his eyes at this.

"Such ignorance. You two lowly mongrels calling themselves kings in my presence." Gilgamesh said with his usual arrogant tone. 

'Did I say arrogant ?' 

'At this point, I am not sure why the hell I am even staying here. Shouldn't I just get the fuck out of here?' Orion just rolled his eyes. 

And soon enough the golden gate of Babylon was open behind Gilgamesh, targeting Rider, Saber, Lancer, their master and Orion. 

'Wait a minute, why me ?'

Orion gritted his teeth and reached out with his magic. Gate of Babylon at its core is still a space magic. There remains a possibility for him to just outright close the gate with his Law of Space. He by now is a master at space. Maybe that's why he isn't worried that he can go back. 

Lancer, Saber quickly withdrew and stood in front of their master to protect them while Orion was working hard to crack the Babylon's code to stop that cheat ability. Or at least prevent it from appearing in a space under his control. 

But then suddenly something else happened!

With a black mist appears a knight in black armour, covered with black mist all over his body. 

"The hell man," Orion cursed. He can't remember this servant. He hardly remembers this anime in the first place. He never completed it. 

Gilgamesh observed the new person who came with a side eye and then with an irritated look said. 

"Who gave you the permission to look upon me your dog." yeah that's Gilgamesh for ya.

Shifting the gate's direction towards the knight. While Orion just checks in the limited knowledge he had that he is a berserker. 

A fight started among them, making Orion sigh in relief. Though he was still trying to figure out the gate of Babylon. The idea was simple, to break down how the skill worked and then to stop it. 

And Gilgamesh spawning his skills like this was really helping him here. 

But that didn't last long, he saw Gilgamesh suddenly stop, mutter something which Orion didn't understand and vanish. 

"Ah, that was anticlimactic," Orion muttered. 

Turning he saw that there were still three servants present there. Saber, Lancer and Berserker. 

'Now might be the best time to get the hell out of here. Not gonna get involved in this any more.' Orion thought and with this, he was about to move before he heard Berserker screaming and going out of control. 

"What, what now ?" 

Berserker with his grim face looks at Saber and rushes at her, making others shocked. 

"What the." Orion raises his eyes with confusion on them. 

'Now he is going after Saber. What his master is thinking ?' Orion ponders before suddenly remembering. 

"Ah yes, his master. Just take care of that guy and we are done." Orion muttered before spreading his senses around. Though there is no certain limit of distance under which a servant can act, at least there is none according to how much he knows fate, still he believes that Berserker master would be here. 

He believes that because this servant is not one who can execute orders flawlessly. So the master has to be nearby to command if he does something wrong. 

So while both Saber and Berserker were fighting, Orion found the Berserker's master location with his laws of presence. 

Didn't take him long before he finally got him. He was close, Orion could tell becuase there was a very fine magical connection between both the berserker and his master. 

Orion was about to ask Berserk to stop as he knew his location so he could now negotiate with him. But before even that, he saw Berserker overwhelming Saber. 

To the point, he was just about to hit her.

His eyes narrowed.
