Chapter 154 : Dementor 2 (Bonus Chapter)

Rose didn't understand what was going on, one second she was reading the new book from Orion with Daphne, and the next second she noticed the entire place cast in shadow. 

The train stopped on top of a bridge while a certain chill was in the air. 

"What's going on," Rose asked Daphne while also looking at two sleeping figures in front of her. While both of them had their face hidden by clothes, she knew one and maybe the reason even after she was  in this strange situation where a certain kind of depression was in the air, she didn't panic.

"I don't know but this is not good," 

She wasn't alone, both Rose and Daphne didn't panic, unconsciously the presence of Orion there just reassured them. 

But that doesn't mean that they weren't nervous. They planned to wake up Orion when suddenly the coldness in their compartment increased, the air turned chilly and the glass in the window started to freeze. 

Rose could feel the chill up to her skin. After witnessing the freezing of the glass, both of them finally agree that whatever is happening is not normal, almost ready to wake up Orion, they move but before that, they hear someone outside. 

Snaping their heads outside of the compartment, they saw a black figure floating, the only thing separating them was the frozen glass on the compartment door. 

The words which they wanted to speak were trapped in their throats. The black hovering figure outside finally makes them panic. 

They weren't sure whether it was fear or the cold which made their bodies shiver. Maybe both but they didn't care right as the thing in front of them slowly extended his hand and opened the door. 

"O...Ori...

Both Rose and Daphne wanted to wake up Orion right now. Out of all the people in the compartment, he might be the only person who can stop whatever was outside. 

Rose didn't have any idea about the dementors but Daphne was the heir of one of the 28 scared pure-blood families. She knew. 

Though both she and Rose took out their wands to stop the dementor, Daphne knew that he had nothing in her arsenal that could stop the dementor. 

Slowly the gate opened and the horrible featureless black face of the dementor came out. Only now that they realize that it was not just the face but there was no light in the room, they didn't even notice that there was light out.

Their breath was visible as how cold the situation was while the rain outside long turned into ice flakes. But again they didn't have time to admire the magically horrifying phenomenon. 

Because in front of them was hovering a dangerous dementor. The first thing both the girls notice is the rotten hands of the Dementor. And then the black cloak the dementor was in. 

The Dementor didn't notice the two sleeping guys. Or maybe he didn't care when, after all, who will go after an old dude and a total hottie...

??? 

Okay, many might, but that usually are girls and this a dementor we are talking about. 

So why he would target a guy when there are two beautiful girls in front of him?

In fact, the dementor didn't look at Daphne either. There was just something about Rose. The amount of magic she held inside her was immense. There were two more people in the compartment who had more magic than Rose but it was not just magic, it was also the despair in her eyes. Rose has encountered more darkness in her life than anyone. This attracted the Dementor. 

Rose and Daphne at this moment, were stunned to the point of almost freezing at their position. The wands in their hands were useless as those hands long went numb at the cold and the presence of the Dementor. 

Slowly the demon from hell approaches them while his presence already bringing despair to their mind. Both the girl's face almost went pale.

As the face of the dementor came close to Rose, her life and all the sorrows of her life passed in front of her eyes. 

When he thought that this was the ending, she saw...

She saw a Fist.

A Fist glowing with bright blueish-white light appeared in her sight and hit the Dementors. It was not a head-on contact, the fist only contacted the dementor's face side knuckles but apparently, that was enough.

It looked a simple punch at best from the outside, if its glowing was not included, but the power was anything but normal.

Both Rose and Daphne's eyes widened in shock as their mind took much time to process what happened. 

Dementor was sent flying back out of the compartment, hitting the wall and breaking the window. 

"Tone it down you punk, I was sleeping," 

Came the heavy voice of a 13-year-old boy standing at the door of the compartment. This was none other than Orion of course. He woke up the moment the train stopped but pretended to be asleep. The reason he wanted to see what the girls do. 

Though they acted just like he thought they would he honestly was a little disappointed. The future is not gonna be easy for them, so seeing that only a dementor bringing them to tears, was disappointing.

He really needed to train them, he knew that the future was not gonna be easy, he didn't know anything much about what Merlin was preparing him for but whatever it was, it's gonna be tough.

"Orion," X2

Both Rose and Daphne shouted as they saw a saviour. Orion didn't engage with them for the time being, moving closer to the Dementor who was still trying to get up after getting punched by Orion.

On the side Lupin was up by now, he was about to act but Orion was faster. Actually, Orion only acted because he saw Lupin was about to act. Otherwise, he planned to wait until the dementor actually attacked. 

Lupin at this time was only thinking one thing. How did Orion punch the dementor? 

[Ahhh... let me guess, you infuse the Patronus charm's power in your fist. Why I'm not surprised. 

Patronus is one of the most beautiful spells out there and you turn it into a punching glove] Merlin said, although he sounded like he was impressed at Orion's use of Patronus the interest he showed in his tone was not hidden at all.

Orion didn't bother with Merlin, slowly bending down he extended his glowing hand towards the dementor and grabbed the Dementor by its neck. And then with a little push, he lifts it up by the neck like a sandbag.

Lupin's eyes were wide like saucers, Daphne wasn't much different. Rose not knowing that what Orion was doing right now was impossible by the current wizarding standards was just in awe of how cool Orion was looking. 

Now Dementors don't need to breathe, so it won't choke but it was still painful for the dementor because Orion's arms were still covered with Patronus.

A very advanced level of magic manipulation. Orion knowing that he can't completely heal his left hand with his current skills and powers, didn't waste too much time on it and instead invested all of his time improving his skills. 

Now that his lifelong trouble with magic power had ended, Orion finally had to time to really learn some complex ancient magic.

"Graxxxxsaasrwwff" 

Dementor screamed as pain surged inside him. 

"What, too much for ya,

You should have thought about it before barging in without a ticket," 

Orion smirked as he saw the screams becoming louder and louder. It was ear piercing scream but Orion was unaffected. 

Rose and other though forcefully has to close their ears. 

"Ah, you are noisy,"

Orion crunched up his face and then decided to not drag this too long and end this. So with that in mind, he opened his hand and simultaneously a force of pressure pushed the dementor to the wall of the train. 

"Let's see, I will be needing to completely purify your dark magic to end you. The problem is that Patronus doesn't hold any offensive power. Thus I had to use it with my fist." Orion mutters to himself with a sigh. 

'Well let's try this,'

As Orion was holding the dementor up against the wall with his force, he once again closed his fist while only extending two fingers out and muttering.

"Space Law Red + Light Law Purify," 

Orion said slowly as he was very focused at this time, merging two kinds of ancient magic is already a big deal and he was dealing with Law Here. 

And then it happened, the dimly lit up train corridor glowed up with bright red light. It was not erie but rather blazing and vibrant. 

A bright red orb appears in front of his extended finger as he points it towards the dementor. 

And then there was an explosion. An explosion which stood the entire train and almost toppled the coach they were in, only thanks to Orion controlling the gravity to some degree and the coach being connected with another coach, that it stayed on the track. 

The entire side of the coach was blasted off, the entire wall was gone and so the dementor Orion was targeting.

Rose, Daphne, Lupin and almost everyone in that coach was gobsmacked. 

"Guess I overdid it there," Orion intended to blow up the wall, just to let out the frustration for being trapped in one place for three years. But after seeing the entire coach was about to flip and even the bridge on which the train was standing got damaged a little. 

Even he gulps as he continues that line of thought, thinking about what would have happened if he hadn't held back and accidentally destroyed the bridge.

[With great power comes great responsibilities] Merlin added as he saw Orion gulping after seeing his own attack.
