5. Take Advantage Of The Situation

"Friends, there is a hidden threat lurking in our city, patiently awaiting opportunities to destroy and vanish without a trace! Laugh if you dare, but the wizard is in our midst!"

Mary's arrogant shouting left Tina, who was concealed in the crowd, unable to resist the urge to give her a taste of her own medicine. However, Tina had paid the price for her actions and had been stripped of her role as an Auror, all because she tried to teach this infuriating woman a lesson.

Until now, Tina had never regretted casting a curse on Mary. However, if she hadn't acted impulsively and hexed her in front of a group of non-magical people (known as No-Majs), Mary's supporters, she wouldn't be in this predicament, stuck in the mundane position of a Wand Licensing Office Auditor.

"We must unite and fight! For our children, grandchildren, and the future that awaits us! Join us, 'Second Salem,' and stand by our side!"

Mary looked towards Newt, asking for his endorsement.

But Newt wasn't cooperative; he seemed incredibly anxious!

He noticed a mischievous Niffler going through the hat of a dozing homeless man.

The jingling sound came from the coins donated by well-meaning individuals.

Accidentally, Niffler knocked over the hat. He appeared a bit perplexed, but upon catching sight of the shiny coins, he deftly stashed them in the little pocket on his belly.

With a look of contentment, the mischievous creature met Newt's horrified gaze before rolling away and dashing towards the entrance of the bank.

Uh-oh!

Newt panicked and chased after the Niffler with the case, repeatedly blurting out apologies: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

Mary furrowed her brow as she observed Newt's retreating figure. She was taken aback. Here she was, advocating for a cause of great importance—a speech that dealt with matters of life and death—yet this man... How utterly useless! All he could do was run away and pretend to be oblivious!

Newt's erratic behavior caught the attention of Tina, a skilled Auror, or rather, a former Auror from the Magnesia Magical Council.

Although she had lost her position, her abilities remained intact.

Her sharp senses quickly detected a familiar scent on Newt.

She adjusted her collar to conceal most of her face and followed Newt's path, maneuvering swiftly through the crowd.

The interior of the bank revealed an opulent hall. Behind a gilded counter, numerous bank employees busily tended to the financial needs of their respective customers. Every person in the bank was impeccably dressed in suits and ties.

Newt's expression and peculiar conduct stood out amidst this gathering of New York financiers.

"May I assist you, sir?"

A bank employee, sporting gold-rimmed glasses, stepped forward only to regard Newt with peculiar scrutiny.

Newt worried about losing his way. Just because he was a wizard didn't mean he was unfamiliar with this place. He had, after all, been to Gringotts.

Do you know what the goblins think of Sniff?

"Daemon."Letting a Niffler loose in a bank is like inviting a ravenous wolf into a sheep pen! This is Magnesium, and the chaos that would ensue is beyond his imagination. "No, I'm still here, waiting..." Hesitating momentarily, Newt settled himself down in the waiting area to lend more credibility to his words.

Beside him sat Jacob Kowalski, anxiously awaiting his turn.

Nervously, Jacob fidgeted with his suitcase, which looked identical to Newt's. His legs shook with nerves as he awaited his loan application appointment, hoping to secure the funds to fulfill his dream of owning a bakery.

Spotting Newt sitting nearby, Jacob felt an instinctive urge to talk and alleviate his stress.

However, his anxiety only heightened when he discovered that absent-minded Newt was also seeking a loan for a bakery. As if getting approved for a loan wasn't challenging enough, now he had competition.

As Jacob continued to speak, he turned around and noticed that Newt had vanished. In his place sat an egg, twice the size of a goose egg, shining with a metallic silver hue.

"Hey! Sir! Hey! Sir!" Jacob called out in an attempt to get Newt's attention, but Newt seemed oblivious.

Wanting to catch up with Newt and return the egg, Jacob's plans were thwarted by the bank manager's secretary, who informed him that the manager wished to see him immediately, but only for five minutes...

"Come on, little guy, hurry up!" Outside the door, Aurelius hastily distributed the third stack of leaflets.

He was running out of time.

Through his mark, he could "see" Niffler's activities, including what was happening around him.

Niffler scurried back and forth, targeting the wealthy individuals in the hall—stealing jewelry or plucking off rhinestones from high-heeled shoes.

Nifflers aren't always discerning when it comes to shiny objects. They may be attracted to things that don't hold substantial value for humans.

He was awaiting his opportunity, his chance to get into the bank vault.

Presently an unloved orphan, impoverished and destitute. What kind of country was this? A haven for money!

But of course, he needed money, lots of it.

Hoping for a regular income was not enough. He could only dream of a stroke of luck, something less morally compromising.

Like... making off with the vault of a major bank?

Watching Niffler clamber onto a cart loaded with gold, destined for storage, Aurelius's eyes gleamed with excitement: Here was the perfect chance!

"Mum, my stomach hurts. I need to use the restroom at the bank."

Mary looked displeased. No matter how angry she was, she couldn't control her child's bodily functions.

Waving her off, Aurelius hurriedly headed towards the bank, clutching his stomach as if granted a temporary respite.

As he kept an eye on Niffler's movements, he rushed into the bank restroom. After quickly closing the stall door and barely waiting a minute, Aurelius promptly activated the second stage effect of the mark. In an instant, he felt a sensation of compression, as if his entire being was condensed, and his surroundings became hazy. Just moments later, Aurelius reappeared in the bank vault, his original form restored. Sniff, who was sitting among a pile of gold coins, stared in bewilderment at the sudden appearance of this man.

Aurelius had no time for anything else; he knew Newt was right outside the door!

The vault door lock began to open automatically, slowly, and steadily. Aurelius had only a few precious seconds!

What could be accomplished in such a short timeframe?

This vault could be emptied!

A seemingly infinite amount of gold vanished without a trace as if it had evaporated from the world!

From Aurelius' perspective, his reserves of gold coins were rapidly multiplying!

This astounding ability came from the summoner - the equipment slot!
