Professor Dumbledore

Will looked at the man with shock. Having read the Harry Potter series before, he obviously knew about Professor Dumbledore, an important character in the novel. Of course he wanted to meet a very significant and important wizard such as him.

"Oh dear! You have recognized me. But I am sure that I have never met you before.", the old man said, all but confirming that he was indeed, Dumbledore.

"Oh... yes I did recognize you. I saw you in one of those collectible magic cards we get in the chocolate frogs. You looked very similar to that."

"Well, that is distressing. I am sure that Arthur would never let his grandchild anywhere near a chocolate frog, or anything even remotely from Hogsmeade. I wonder how someone like you got your hands on that.", Dumbledore said, smiling.

But, all of a sudden, someone stopped their conversation.

"Professor Dumbledore! You came. I thought that you wouldn't show up.", a familiar voice said, shocked. Will turned to see his mother speaking. She was clearly very happy. In fact, she looked the most happiest he had ever seen her. In all those years she was in Monroe Manor, she had clearly hated it a lot. But, the moment that she saw Dumbledore, her eyes lit up.

"Daphne. It seems that the muggle world has treated you much better than this place has. Well, I would definitely come to the birthday of one of my favorite student's sons. When that person is the son of two of my beloved students, oh I wouldn't miss it for the world. How are you these days?"

"I am fine, professor. I have gotten quite a lot of free time these days, so I have taken up quite a few hobbies."

"Hobbies have you? Well, that is wonderful. But, it seems that my time here is slowly coming to an end. Well then child. I will see you at Hogwarts. I hope that you will have a great school year. Oh, and happy birthday. As a gift, my dear companion has given you something. An old friend had suggested me to give it to you, so do think very carefully on how you will use this. Think very carefully.', Dumbledore said, putting a lot of emphasis on the word 'very'. He handed Will a letter, and then walked away. Will blinked, and Dumbledore vanished. Will turned to see his mother.

"Go on, it is something that he wanted to have. That means that you are supposed to have it."

Will nodded, and then he remembered. "Mother. Where did grandfather want me to go after meeting the Longbottoms? If I don't follow his order, he will get very mad."

"Very mad indeed. You go to the Flints and then after some time, the Malfoys. Remember, be careful on how you speak with the Malfoys. Lucius wasn't exactly the most amicable type according to what I remember."

Will thanked her, and he went to the Flints. After quickly conversing with them, he spoke to a few people who were from the outer circles. He glanced at the Malfoys from time to time. Lucius Malfoy was clearly a little irritated. Being the last to be greeted among the nobles was one thing, but being placed behind the outer circle clearly did it for him. His eyes turned hostile, and he was glaring at Will. Will averted his gaze and focused on the people infront of him. After a while, he felt extremely uncomfortable by the gaze of Lucius. He ended his conversations and moved towards the Malfoys.

Lucius saw Will coming towards him, and he smiled. Then, he stopped his own conversation and sat down. Will went over to their table.

"Greetings. Thank You for attending my birthday party. I hope that you have enjoyed it so far.", he said.

Lucius looked Will in the eye. "Well, the arrangements are... how do I put it pleasantly? Yes, adequate. Well, they are enough for a birthday party, I assume. But, how can they possibly hope to cope to our standards?", he said, clearly taunting Will.

"Taunting me, are you? You should have known that I am actually a reincarnated person, who is almost as old as you are, adding up.", thoughts were colliding in Will's mind. But, he gathered them up and replied quickly. "Yes, thank you. Well then, I shall wish you a great evening ahead."

"Why? Leaving already? Why don't you meet my son. He is also going to Hogwarts. Though he is going to be in the better house which has been winning for the past few years now. I will leave you two to get to know each other.". Lucius moved to reveal a boy the same age as Will. He had white hair, combed back. He looked exactly as the books described him. Except they missed one detail in the description. He looked like pure evil.
