“Okay. I think we should try to get things going again. Soon. It’s been….” Sean sighed.
“Enough time for them to feel sad about their mother and time to start learning again?” Maxim asked.
“Exactly.” Sean smiled a little. He had given the kids a couple of months to grieve, but it was easy to do here, the way they lived. It wasn’t as easy in the outside world, the human world. There you had to go to school even if you lost a parent. You could be away for a while, sure, but you couldn’t just take time like this.
“They’re ready,” Maxim said with conviction that made Sean hope the tiger was right.
