50 Wives, 1500 Children and 40000 Grandchildren?!

The first being that, any common man would be too afraid to be with them due to their Bloodline Suppression, and wouldn't be able to handle the responsibility that came with the relationship. 

They would feel as if they were blasphemising their goddess, and wouldn't be able to live with themselves, and might even kill themselves to relieve their sins.

The second and most major one, is that they wouldn't be able to make children with them, due to men with lesser bloodlines, being unable to fertilize someone with a stronger bloodline. 

Both their seeds would be incompatible, and was similar to a situation where the female egg was too strong and killed all the weak sperm. Or the sperm being too weak to reach the female egg, which is a common cause of childlessness between couples today. 

Basically, only someone with a stronger bloodline, could bear the load that they give, and not shiver in fear when they see them.

And the only person who could possess a bloodline that strong, would be someone with strong traces of bloodline from their own human ancestors. 

No matter how strong of a bloodline, the Matriarchs possessed, they could never come close to the Progenitor Bloodline of the Ancient Humans, as they were the first sentinel beings to exist in the world. And they were also the true ancestors of the world, whom the Matriarchs themselves came from, due to their human mothers.

Now the issue was to find that human, who possessed enough traces of the human progenitor's bloodline, which was extremely rare, due to the constant dilution of bloodline during each generation. 

Only someone who possessed enough traces of True Blood, could activate the latent potential of his blood, and be suitable to support the Matriarchs, which was usually a once-in-a generation case.

Fortunately, the Matriarchs also had another ability called 'Resonance', which unconsciously allowed them to find the person with a stronger bloodline than them. 

It was an ability that they couldn't control, just like 'Bloodline Dominance', which made them make unconscious decisions, that would eventually lead them to their partner. 

Like for example, if they had to choose between two paths on a forked road, they would be able to instinctively know the correct one, which would lead to the chosen man. 

'Resonance' also had other purposes, but its main purpose was to act as the red string of fate, between two very special people.

Through 'Resonance', the Matriarchs were able to find their suitable partner in their journey, after some time. 

But unfortunately for them, there was always only one person with a stronger bloodline in each generation, and all the strings of fate of each matriarch, led to that very person. 

Luckily for that man, who possessed the strongest bloodline, the matriarchs put more importance on expanding the race, than monopolising him, so they decided to share him equally with all the other holy mothers. 

It was said in the prologue, that the man was the luckiest person to live at that time, as he always had beautiful ladies that were equivalent to queens of the world by his side. And he spent the most of his life in bed with them, trying to make as many children as possible.

It was even said that by the end of his life, he had over 1500 children with his wives, who numbered around 50. And over forty thousand grandchildren continued to spread his wives blood. 

He was the Genghis Khan of that world.

How this is all related to the story of the novel I read, is that the Matriarchs of the past have emerged once again after thousands of years, and need the help of the protagonist, who is also the human with the strongest bloodline in the current era.

Well, to be more exact, certain girls from each race have awakened their bloodline after thousands of years since the birth of the Matriarchs, due to the accumulation of Primordial Blood from their ancestors. 

This is similar to how the 'Father of all Demi-Humans' from the past, awakened his latent bloodline because of the traces of Primordial Blood in his veins. 

This awakening of blood in some demi-girls has actually happened quite a lot of times in the past, in the novel's world, as every century or two, some girls from different races would accumulate enough primodorial traces from their Matriarch, and develop the abilities the Matriarchs also possessed, but on a much lower scale. 

Most might think that possessing a body that has enough Primodorial Blood to awaken the bloodline powers, as a once-in-a lifetime opportunity, as it could be used to change the trajectory of their lives for the better, and live like kings of the past. 

But it was actually a far cry from it, and it was something you'd have to worry about.

Out of the two abilities given to the Matriarchs to safely complete their mission and spread their seeds, the one people would desire the most, is probably the ability to suppress others using their bloodline, and be able to order people around as you wish. 

With that power, you could do whatever you want in life, and people wouldn't be able to lift a finger against you, because they fear you and are in awe of your bloodline, even though it's sole purpose was to protect the Matriarchs from the rest of the world.

But the ability to make others worship you and control others to do your bidding, is only something the Matriarchs will ever possess, and isn't something that, even their direct descendants could do. 

This was because the extent of that power, was proportional to how pure your bloodline was.

Just because you had traces of their bloodline in you, didn't mean that you could possess those same abilities. Only if you had the purest of blood like they did, could you actively and passively use those abilities. So even dreaming of getting those abilities was useless.

Only those who had a relatively pure bloodline compared to others, and also had the luck of activating their bloodline's potential, could use the Matriach's ability. 

It was similar to how genetic characteristics from our own familial ancestors are passed down by chance and have a random chance of appearing in the next generation, due to allele variations. 

The matter of having any chance of activating the potential, was a matter of luck and didn't really depend on who had the purest bloodline, as long as the purity crossed a certain threshold.

But even the abilities received by those lucky individuals who have a pure enough bloodline, and have successfully managed to tap into its potential, aren't the same as those of their Matriachs, and is simply a downgraded and useless version of it.

The 'Bloodline Suppression' ability they had, could only keep away any men that had any thoughts about them, due to the little dominant aura they possessed, which made the men near them, fear them unconsciously.

And even if the men did get close to them, it would only be to the extent of colleagues or friends. 

They wouldn't dare to have any romantic or sexual thoughts about them, due to the worship they have for the girls with strong bloodlines, deep in their hearts.

Some might say that this ability is actually useful, as it gave the girls an imaginary shield against pesky men. And protected them from even the scariest of people, which is true in my opinion, as women always get fed up with the looks they get from men, even when they were doing the simplest of activities. And they would love an ability, that would stop men from having thoughts about them all the time.

But at the same time, it also acts as a double-edged sword, because they would never be able to find love in their life, because everyone would be too scared to approach them. 

This would inevitably make them live a lonely life, because they couldn't find a partner who'd dare to love them.

And not to mention the fact that, as the demi-girl grows older, the bloodline also accumulates, which causes the strengthening of their abilities. 

This simply means that as time goes on, not only will men start avoiding them, so will everyone else, even the closest friends they had before. 

And in extreme cases, even their family members will start to avoid them, and they'll be left to live a cold, miserable life without the warmth and love of anyone else. 

This alone is enough of a reason for someone to dread having a stronger bloodline. But there was also another reason, why someone wouldn't even wish it on their worst enemies.
