8 Sabrina Millers- The Female Lead

Ren gazed at the closed door, a knot tightening in his stomach at the mere thought of encountering Sabrina at this hour. His being half an hour early did nothing in his favor.

"You've forgotten your hoodie, host," the system chimed in, ever timely.

"I don't want to," Ren replied with a slight pout, his tone resembling that of a spoiled child—a tactic he often used with his grandmother, which always seemed to work in his favor. Pushing aside memories that threatened to resurface, Ren continued the bickering with the system. He did not want to hide in the shadows.

The system empathized with Ren's stance, recognizing the pattern where the victim often loses confidence and hides while the bullies remain brazenly confident.

"Dear host, appearing without your hoodie may draw unwanted attention from those you wish to avoid. It's not conducive to our future objectives," the system jumped beside Ren and patted his leg.

Maybe the system wanted to pat Ren's head, but those tiny furry legs didn't support such high ambition.

"Call me Ren, little God," he sighed, breath escaping through slightly parted cherry lips.

"Yes, you're right. I almost forgot about that. But must I always hide?" Ren knelt and grabbed the little God in his arms.

"No, Ren," the system reassured him, its virtual voice a comforting presence. "Endure this until we secure a new place to reside."

He doesn't know about the new place however; this furry little creature did find a comfortable place in his embrace.

The prospect of a new home did stir a glimmer of excitement within Ren.

With a resigned sigh, Ren donned his zipper hoodie before reaching for the door, silently praying to avoid any encounter with that unfamiliar, yet unsettlingly familiar, face.

As the door swung open, Ren's heart sank. Sabrina was still there, even after the fifteen-minute delay.

Sabrina, afraid to face the closed door again, grabbed it with her dainty hands and pulled it open with all her force, causing Ren to stumble into her embrace.

A light, sweet floral scent enveloped her, reminiscent of Perssia, a heavily layered white flower favored by royalty for its charm. The scent, like an allure of innocent beauty trapping everyone in her cage. It appears at one moment and disappears in the next. Her arms tightened around Dorian as her nose dug deeper in the crook of his neck inhaling deeply, savoring the intoxicating aroma before being pushed away.

 "Stay Away!"

Her smile froze, and so did her raised arms.

Dorian's frown unsettled her, but something even more alarming, clenched Sabrina's heart: Dorian's voice, a melody she had longed for over the years. She could still recall the thrill that lingered in her mind, brought by his enticing echoing cries.

Her emerald eyes found his gorgeous face. Those golden eyes shimmering with vitality she had never seen before. His furrowed brow seemed like a precious jewel in itself.

"What do you mean, 'stay away,' Dori? Hmm?" Her once-sparkling eyes narrowed with anger.

"You dare to show your face and speak in front of others, knowing damn well how much I adore you?"

She took a step ahead and easily cornered Dorian against the Wall, " You betrayed me for that wench, Win."

"Weren't you the one behind all this?" Dorian's eyes shone with unshed tears, an effect of his rising anger, "And I belong to no one so why would I listen to you?"

His purity remained unchanged, resembling little Dori who used to give her all his food. The innocence-filled eyes tinged with anger only made her giggle.

"Pfft. Oh, Baby!" she whispered, her fingers lightly brushing against Dorian's cheek, "You're mine."

Her fingers slowly slid down on the smooth skin and tightened around his slender neck.

"Mine to love," She could feel the fast-beating nerve underneath, "Mine to bully."

Sabrina leaned closer to her favorite human, her nose grazing over Dorion's cheek. Her green hair barely reaching her shoulder brushed against Dorion's neck making him shudder. His ever-increasing paleness and shiver of his nerves amused her to no end.

Sabrina's voice, barely above a whisper, pierced Dorian's mind. "And to answer your question, so what if I did?"

Dorian couldn't move, his frozen fingers unable to undo his clutching fist. His lungs empty of oxygen demanded more air, yet he couldn't do so. Blood roared through his nerves and rushed to his every corner like a tide painting his pale face with an unsettling blush.

"You, Baby, from birth to death, from hair to the nail of your toe, belong to me." She placed a light kiss on his now pink cheek before releasing the pressure around his neck.

Ren filled his lungs with fresh air greedily as he slid across the very wall he was pinned against. He barely stabled himself when Sabrina crouched in front of him.

"I'll see you at school," her fingers found their way to Ren's crooked collar. "You will not speak to Win or anyone," her voice as gentle as lover's whisper.

"Or else, I don't mind bringing you to my special room again. Understood?"

Ren hurriedly nodded in agreement, unable to do anything else. Sabrina's eyes softened; a smile lingered on her gorgeous face. "Good boy!"

As she disappeared into the apartment, Ren dashed for the taxi.

"She is crazy! Crazy! Crazy! She is so out of her mind!"

Ren's mind swirled with questions, "Why couldn't I resist her? Am I that weak?"

The moment Sabrina held him he felt goosebumps erupting on his body. It took him herculean effort to push her away and he was powerless after that. Forget about fighting her he couldn't even open his mouth to defy her because of that immense pressure she released.

Ren's torrent of questions overwhelmed the system, which quickly dug the required data.

Apparently, Ren belonged to the group of people who have a physique at level C and Sabrina is at level B+ in mental power and level A+ in her physique. The perks of being the main character.

If one has to explain the distribution of rank, then all the average people are at level B- to C. There are also people with Level F, who are the people struggling from some disease or defect or are just born weak and unable to evolve any further. The people with levels at D Or E are the ones who can not pilot the Mechas. However, they are quite in demand for other jobs which do not include using their mental or physical energies like teaching history or designing clothes and such.

If the cities can be considered as schools, then level A people will be the toppers. The Level A+ people are geniuses appearing only once a few decades. There might be one or two presents at each 'school' but never more than that. Having two such individuals at the same time is already a rare thing and worthy of bragging.

While people could improve their level through specific activities, the leap from level C to level A remained unattainable. People with higher mental ratings usually have lower physiques and vice versa.

Then came the individuals with level S, a rarity across the universe. They were not born like this. Most of such people were at level A or A+ during their birth.

What set them apart from other levels was their possession of special abilities, such as manipulating water, earth, air and many other such things.

These abilities were honed through relentless training and evolution. Details about these abilities remained scarce, as such people preferred to keep them secret. However, caution was warranted; the more power one possessed, the greater the risk of succumbing to madness. Hence, most S level individuals, after almost a century, ended up as the most terrifying figures in history.

Win is one of such individuals. The people who are considered both boon and curse. That's why these figures are called Dures. According to the religious history of planet Alrectix Nebula, Dures is considered to be the gate separating heaven from hell.

The system took Ren out of the whirlpool of questions, "Why do you think you managed to stay conscious even after Sabrina unleashed her full aura?"

"Because I am a cannon fodder who is not supposed to die yet?" Ren really can't find any other explanation.

"No Ren," A frustrated system looked even more cute. Ren wanted to hold the angry system in his arms and roll on his soft bed.

System bit Ren's shoulder with those tiny fangs in retaliation. "Stop thinking about bed all the time, and you already did that a few hours ago!"

Rubbing his now-bitten shoulder which wasn't painful at all, Ren stepped off the floating lift and entered the already waiting Taxi.

'Sorry, Little God.' Ren started conversing in his mind. Even though it was an automatic floating vehicle, Ren didn't want to take any chances of labelling himself as crazy.

'As I was saying, that's only your physical level. Your mental state is at Level S. The very reason the old you went mad. It was a sequela of your overused mental power.'

Ren, "...ha ha ha," He has an S-level mental strength which will eventually kill him or worse, make him mad.

The system could only helplessly explain that it was before Ren's soul merged and became complete.

Ren might be the only person to be at this level with such a clear mind. Sabrina can also be considered a rare specimen of balancing both aspects at such a good scale.

Oh no! there is actually another one, Kade Death, the person who was born with an S-level physique and S-level mental power. The person who has been on the Red-list of government since he was born.

Ren realized with disgust that he wasn't even average. He couldn't even fight with one Sabrina let alone the huge tentacles monster who is also a king of Zergs!

A strong warrior—what a beautiful dream!

System"..." Why is Zerg more important in this situation and when did a Zerg king with tentacles even appear in this universe?
