Back In His Room
Ren blinked rapidly, his vision slowly clearing, though a dull ache persisted all over his body.
The night lamp illuminated his familiar dark room, and the digital clock displayed time on the wall. It was around midnight.
He was back in his room.
Ren recalled that he fainted exactly this time a week ago.
As he took in the familiar surroundings, a wave of relief washed over him.
He did not have to bear such things again, but he would miss that person.
Ren frowned, his brows pinched together in confusion.
What person?
Ren tried to recall, however, what greeted him was a sharp pain in his head, forcing him to gasp.
The beeping of the apparatus beside him became louder. It rang persistently in his ears, making his head throb even more.
Ren groaned, his fingers rubbing his forehead while trying to move his body. There was vague blurriness in his mind, telling him that he seemed to be forgetting something.
