You're safe now

A day had passed, and now I was back home. It was already noon, and Lily and Irene were preparing lunch while I sat watching TV. Raven wasn't there; she had to return home as she had some things to take care of, but she promised to come back later in the day. Lunch was ready quickly, and we all sat down at the table.

We began eating in a comfortable silence, the only sounds the clinking of cutlery and the occasional hum of the refrigerator. I finished my meal and spoke up.

"Moms, you should rest. I know you need to take care of me, but you need to take care of yourselves too. I'm fine now, so go and get some rest."

My words brought a smile to Irene and Lily's faces. "Oh, our baby is worried about us. That's too adorable," Lily said, reaching out to ruffle my hair.
