RISE apocalypse
In the year 2035, humanity had achieved unparalleled technological advancement. But all of that changed when a deadly virus swept across the globe, wiping out a significant portion of the population. Those who survived the initial outbreak soon discovered that the virus had given them extraordinary abilities, and they became known as "The Risen."
Alex, a young man who discovers that he can control electricity, meets Sarah, the leader of a group of survivors. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to find a rumored safe haven called "The Sanctuary." Along the way, they encounter other survivors, both human and Risen, and must navigate the complex web of alliances and betrayals that exists in this new world.
As they draw closer to The Sanctuary, Alex and Sarah discover that it may not be the safe haven they hoped for, and that their greatest challenge may be from within. The Risen continue to evolve, and their powers become more unstable, leading to conflict and chaos. Alex and Sarah must confront the hard truth that in this new world, survival may come at a terrible cost.

i just wanna say, i am quite new to this and only have a small experience in writing so please help me improve by pointing out some grammar and inconsistent mistakes i make along the way.
Note: the pacing at start is slow so try to be patient i promise it will get better.
