Night Watch (1)

The clothesline stretched across the yard, displaying linens that danced and fluttered in the gentle breeze. 

The grass rustled and swayed, playing a peaceful melody while the fluffy clouds passed slowly across the bright blue sky, providing occasional shadows on the ground below.

"Miss Mira," Sir Redlic spoke up. "Can we have your cooperation with our investigation? We are trying to interview the servants about this stalker," he asked, his words lingering in the air with the distant chirping of birds.

Feeling a bit on edge, Mira glanced around. Her eyes darted between the hanging linens to Sir Redlic. After a moment of contemplating, she finally nodded in agreement, her response slightly hesitant. 

"Um, sure. I, I can do that," she replied softly, slightly unsure but willing to assist.

Upon seeing her nod, Sir Redlic's lips did not fail to grace a faint smile, showing his subtle satisfaction with her response.
