"Ah, wait!"

Mikael gasped as he was raised from the ground like a feather. He floated towards Nicolaus' horse, and softly landed his bum on the leather saddle, feeling its comfort.

He looked around from his elevated position. He had not ridden a horse in a long time. It had been ages since he last experienced the thrill of riding a horse, and he was a little nervous about being so far from the solid ground.

Mikael brought his hand to caress the horse's hair, feeling the silkiness of each strand between his fingers. He listened to the horse's rhythmic breathing, sensing a connection with the animal that carried him on its back.

With a smooth motion, Nicolaus lifted his leg over the horse and settled himself on the horse's back. He grabbed the reins with both hands, wrapping his arms around Mikael, who was sitting in front of him.
