The Red Garden

As usual, after work hours ended, Jey waited for Aaron in the John Group building's parking lot. Apart from the fact that the parking lot was occupied exclusively by high-ranking officials at the company, this place, at this time when Aaron's car arrived, not many were in the parking lot. Jey does have longer working hours than the others because she doesn't want to bring her work home.

While waiting for Aaron, Jey checked her cell phone. She never forgot a day asking about her best friend, Lily, to her subordinates at the Red Garden headquarters. She also always reminded them to pay attention to Lily's daily sleep and food.

Suddenly a message appeared on Jey's cellphone. Seeing the name of detective Noel, Jey wasted no time and immediately opened it.

[Mr. Anderson, the witness, has disappeared. His family has also not been seen since this morning.]

Jey's heart was beating very fast. The blood flowing in her body seemed to just disappear after reading the message. She has a bad feeling only from this information. Jey quickly called Lily, and the latter answered the call in just one ring.

"The team is still trying to trace Mr. Anderson's whereabouts. The last time they met him, one of the team installed a tracking device on Mr. Anderson's cell phone. Still, this morning, the signal just disappeared, and Mr. Anderson's last position was his house." Lily explained in a solemn tone. Jey could hear the noise of the computer as Lily spoke.

Both Jey's palms began to sweat. Her brain kept working over the whereabouts of the only person who witnessed the accident ten years ago and knew the identity of the people who planned it.

"Do you think it's them? The King." Jey's voice was low and dangerous. Her aura appeared different from this week, deadly and dangerous.

"I thought the same. I'll keep trying to find out more. Stay there, don't go anywhere, and make sure to always use the tracker on you." asked Lily in a tone no less severe than Jey.
