Chapter 12 - Lavor's Visit Part 2

Lavor decided to continue walking inside the store to stop the commotion that is happening at the store entrance because of him.

But before he goes, he decided to look at Jewel again and saw that she was staring at him so he decided to wave his hand at her that only ends up in another commotion again. Jewel who saw what happened just rolled her eyes at him.

"Hey, Lavor!"

Lavor was looking in Jewels' direction when he heard someone called his name, so he looks back again and saw a man of the same age as him.

"Gen!" Lavor called out his friend's name while smiling.

Gen was Lavor's friend who invited him to the birthday party for her sister.

"So, I was wondering why the employees are causing a commotion, so you're actually already here. Sorry about that, you should have called me earlier when you arrive so that I could just let you in through the back door to avoid such a commotion." The guy added.

" It's alright, I used the entrance because I was also trying to find someone I know. Anyway, how are you? By the way, I'm sorry about the party, I wasn't able to tell you when I left because of what happened. " Lavor smiled and slapped the guy's shoulder.

But Gen didn't really mind what he said at the last part, he only cares about the first part of what Lavor said.

"A girl?" Gen asked playfully at him.

But Lavor didn't get it so he only gives Gen a questioning look and Gen who saw this smiled even more.

"The person you are trying to find was a girl, right?" Gen said this, teasing Lavor even more.

Although he knows that Lavor was not really that kind of guy but he can't help making fun of him since Lavor was well known as a man who likes to play around.

Gen and Lavor were classmates in college and close friends. After graduating from college, Gen then was called back by his parents to let him run the store his parents leave in this country.

"Don't talk nonsense, it's just someone I know. Anyway, let's get to the serious business." Lavor felt a bit scared and decided to avoid the topic.

He really doesn't want Gen to know about Jewel or even let him know about the fact that he was staying at Jewel's house.

It won't be good if the guy decided to pester Jewel about it, cuz he was so sure that Jewel would get angry, not at Gen but at him.

Right now, the two are inside Gen's office sitting in a chair on a round table facing each other.

Lavor left early at Jewel's house today to visit his friend and talk to him about what happened to him at the party.

It would be great if there are no other intentions with it but what he heard about the issues that were going on about him at Country S, then he can't help thinking that someone was behind all this.

Now, he found out that the woman was actually from country S and she seems to have already gone back to the country.

He was already thinking of contacting Blake to find out more about the identity of that woman.

"Hi, brother! Lavor! Hi, how are you?"

While the two were talking seriously, Gia, Gen's sister suddenly come in.

Gia is a beautiful girl with short straight hair, currently, she's wearing a floral dress that fits perfectly in her body. She looks sexy and cute, that's why there are a lot of men or even women in the store who likes her.

"Hey, Gia." Lavor greeted back.

"Oh Gia, what are you doing here? I thought you're not coming today?" Gen asked her sister. Earlier when he asked her sister if she was coming to the store, she answered that she wouldn't come today because she's going out with her friends.

"Well, I heard that Lavor was coming today so I decided to come too." Gia answered and smile sweetly at Lavor.

Gen look at his sister and raised his eyebrow.

"Right I forgot, what am I asking? Of course, you're here, after all, you're a fan of him. Right I forgot, you have a huge crush on him." Gen said, making fun of his sister.

" Brother!!" Gia called out her brother's name angrily. Although she sounds angry it doesn't really have much effect because she's blushing hard.

"Can you not please say something like that. The person was here, you're making me lose face." This time, Gia said it in a very shy and cute way. While still smiling sweetly shy and also giving glimpse at Lavor.

Gen only smiled at what Gia said. He knows that Gia likes Lavor, and he also knows Lavor so he was not really against it.

"Alright, alright okay. So how about this, you go and show Lavor around the store and also introduce him to our employee at lunchtime." Gen said this, giving Gia a favor as her brother.

Gia immediately agrees and happily pulled Lavor outside the door.

When Lavor heard his friend say that, he looked at him and raised his right eyebrow.

But Gen only smiled at him, as if wanting to tell him to give his sister a chance. Although he himself knows that Lavor will not like his sister.

Seeing his friend's face, Lavor can't help 'sigh'-ing. In the end, he just gives up and goes with the flow.

Gia pulled Lavor everywhere in the store, introducing him to every person while holding his arm and blushing while talking as if she was introducing her lover.

"Been look, don't you think the two of them look good together."

One of the employees suddenly said this to his co-worker while looking at Gia and Lavor standing so close with each other while talking to their department head.

"What are you talking about?" The person called Ben answered and look at where his co-worker was looking.

When he saw the two, he can't help raising his eyebrow and said.

"Don't talk nonsense. Who do you think the person that was with ma'am Gia?"

"Isn't he a celebrity, you think that ma'am Gia doesn't worth him?" The other guy asks this stupidly.

Ben can't help smacking his co-worker.

"Who do you think is ma'am Gia? That guy doesn't worth her. Haven't you heard about the news of that guy that was spreading around recently? They said that he made a woman pregnant and he's here to escape his responsibility. Don't you think that kind of guy was worth of ma'am Gia? Don't get blinded by his identity as a celebrity." Ben gives a long speech to his co-worker.

"But he's sir Gens' friend." The other guy retorted.

"Being his friend and being his brother-in-law are two different things." Ben

The other guy can't help but think deeply. In the end, he still never give up and said.

"But look at how close they are, you can't help thinking that the two of them might have something going---." But the guy wasn't able to finish what he's talking about because someone already stops them from talking more.

"How about the two of you stop talking nonsense now. Who do you think you are talking about behind their back? Back to work." The two immediately stop talking when they heard this voice just behind them.

The scene that they were looking at now was the scene where their department head was walking back to where Lavor and Gia are.

That's right, the person who said that was their department head who was supposed to be talking with Gia and Labor.

Realizing this, the two immediately look at Lavor and Gia. Though Lavor was not looking at them as if he was not listening but Gia was glaring at them.

She felt humiliated by the two are talking about them just where they could hear them, and to think that they are talking bad things about Lavor makes her even more humiliated and angry.

Although the person was like praising her but degrading Lavor was also not a good thing. She likes Lavor, and what if this well becomes a reason why Lavor would not like her, or he might hate her now. If that was going to happen, she would surely fire those two.

When she looked at Lavor, she felt relieved to find out that the person didn't seem to hear them. The guy was just looking everywhere as if trying to find something or he felt new about the place after all his rich and famous so maybe his never been in a Grocery store before. Since it's like this, she decided to start showing him around again.

Gia thought this but Labor was thinking something else.

Lavor did hear about what the two are talking about earlier but he just didn't mind it. After all, what the guy was talking about was from the news that's going around, though what he said was a bit exaggerated cuz the news didn't really say about him making a girl pregnant.

Well, he still didn't mind it because he was busy finding where Jewel was. He saw Jewel earlier so he knows that she was working here, but where is she?

"Let's go!" Gia finally said this after talking for a long time to the department head. The girl said it full of smile as if she was really happy. And she's also sticking to him like glue.

Lavor felt his headache when he remembers what his friend said earlier. The girl likes him at it seems like it's true. But he didn't like the sound of it. There were indeed a lot of girls in the past that likes him and would always want to stick with him, and he doesn't mind at all, as long as there are no strings attached after it's all fine. This is how his infamous nickname of being a Playboy comes around.

But he can't really treat Gia the same as how he treats other girls before. She's his friends' sister and he doesn't want to hurt her, but he also doesn't like her, that's why this is giving him a headache.
