He handed him a load of sweets, while he received cash from Dakota in the other. Dakota and Lance were best mates, the type that did typically everything together. The boys had know each other for years. A pair of two troublesome kids, that's what they were. Not your run of the mill teens, that's for sure. Oh boy, It seemed the pair had detention EVERY day. Dakota was the smart and funny one. He couldn't really defend himself that well. Lance on the other hand, he was the tough and athletic one.They were from completely different universes, but they were perfect for each other. As they walked out of the empty alley, just when they were to turn the corner, they were stopped. Queue in a guy taller than the pair, in all black and generally giving off a bad vibe. Lance checks their six,pulls Dakota and begins to bolt towards the other exit of the alley. They make a left and dive into a bus just about to take off. A Lucky yet narrow escape. The pair are gulping own air. That's when Dakota feels it. The hot air behind his neck. Dakota flipped around to see the man from earlier. Two shots , two corpses and one hell of a case.

Silence;complete silence filled the air for a brief moment, only until the ears of the boys were splashed with the sounds of swaying trees and rustling leaves.

"No.Freaking.Way!" Dakota screamed as he cracked his eyes open. 'HECK YEAH I'M ALIVE!" He danced around and screamed joyfully. "WHOOO HOOO!" He stopped and looked beside him. Lance lay there on the floor. "Dude, you gotta wake up man were alive!"

"what?" Lance groaned. He got up in disbelief. He kissed the ground. Lance couldn't believe it.

Dakota looked down onto his waist. "Ahhh, my eyes." A light (reflected off of a dagger) beamed onto his face. When he opened his eyes a tiny little fairy appeared in front of him.
