How the Stars bring us Together

A story originally set within a castle of the Medieval Era, though it's like paradise on Earth(and in slight ruins), the Zodiacs find themselves caught up in trouble when Ophiuchus starts to stir it. They seem to part ways, although the God of Stars seems to think otherwise. The lot are soon sent to recreate their relationships in modern times, whether this plan seems to play or not is another matter... Having already been reincarnated into the thirteen respective Zodiac signs, you can imagine how confusing yet another time period would be. To most of them, at least. A cautionary reminder that this book shall contain some graphic, mature scenes. Viewer discretion is advised. There is also alot of profound language, such as swearing.

Chapter 14.

•Scorpio's POV•

•The past, when Scorpio was about ten-years-old•

I looked around the window and doorless room. All there was, was a bed, a book shelf and a table for food which went through a small gap in the wall. I laid on my bed, until I slowly drifted off.

Sleeping and reading were the only things I could do at this point, it was difficult to survive like this, out of boredom.. Although it was the only way I knew how to live.

I didn't have any parents, at least.. Not that I knew of. I've been trapped here since I was six and haven't found out how I got here. Surviving was even more difficult than it is here, so I'm glad at least now I have an ensured meal to eat.

I can sleep and read whenever I want, and I don't even know the time of day at any point. Maybe that's why I'm so pale. My dark red hair was getting long, real long, and my yellow eyes were getting darker slowly. Like the light was dying from my eyes.

Sun.. Clouds.. Snow.. Rain.. Thunder.. Lightning..

What are these weathers? I haven't seen them for so long, I've forgotten what they feel and look like..

•The present•

I found myself staring into another pair of yellow eyes and quickly pulled my arm away. I laid on my side, only to find a pair of Amber eyes.

I groaned slightly and laid on my back. Libra's blue eyes greeted mine, as I sighed, rubbing my face.

"Okay, what?" I finally gave in. Pisces clearly wasn't having any of this either as he was sat a few metres away from me.

"Finally you're awake. We're heading out." Cancer said as he got himself up.

"You could've woken me up." I huffed, as I got up, lifting Gemini up with me.

"We know how much you love your sleep!" Gemini smiled, as he walked towards Pisces.

I nodded. "Well, thanks for being so thoughtful."

I caught Cancer staring at me from the corner of my eye, I decided to ignore it and walk. The others soon caught up as I dragged my feet, slobbishly.

"So, where are we even headed?" Pisces sighed, as he rubbed his forehead. He looked terrible, his eyes were dark and looked as if he hadn't slept at all. Where as.. I, on the other hand, had slept perfectly well on that silky smooth sand.

"Well-" Cancer started, before he was interrupted by a blonde male coming towards us.

"Go back to the others." He demanded. Due to his overall features, taking him seriously was hard and that's why I bursted out into manic laughter. Gemini soon joined me. "Sonny, I know you have trouble containing yourself, but do us all a favor and shut it." The short blondie said.

I blinked and just realised he had called me by my name. My former name.

"Who are you?" I demanded as I walked infront of the others. Cancer seemed slightly surprised by what the shortie had said.

"Stellae. God of Stars. A.K.A the person who chose each of you as the signs you are." His glare had vanished and was now grinning up at me.

•The past, when Scorpio was about thirty-one-years-old•

"I'd suggest doing as your told, these scallywags don't know how to do as their told." He cracked a short laugh, as I made a swift nod.

"May I go to sleep?" I looked at him with a yawn and he simply nodded.

I stepped down the ladder and laid on the potato sack, closing my eyes and slowly dozing off.

•A couple months previously•

I looked at the docked pirate ship, amazed by it. I only got out of that sealed room five days ago, since I managed to squeeze through the gap which put food through. Somehow I got through it unscathed, although I didn't know why I hadn't thought of it sooner. I was probably drowning in self-pity I didn't notice how big the gap was.

I continued to stare at the ship, before a man stepped down from it and noticed me. He walked closer slowly, examining me as he did.

"Heya, lad." He called to me, and I found myself frozen to the spot.

"Erm.. Hello.." I mumbled, looking away from his menacingly, intimidating stare. His amber eyes easily saw through my yellow ones.

"Say, you seem troubled, alone, homeless.. Could I offer you to join the crew?" He raised a brow, with a smirk attached.

"I... Uhhh..." I just stared past him at the ship, before slowly making a subtle nod. He somehow noticed and quickly took me by the shoulders, he practically pushed me on.

"Welcome aboard, mate!" He shouted, as he walked up to the steering wheel. The other crew members sneered at me, as I slowly sat upon the ladder. I just stayed quiet throughout the journey.

•The present•

"Cancer, let's just ignore this beggar and move on-" The supposed God grabbed my arm.

"You don't understand. Each of you are strongest when togethe-" He started, though I had pulled my arm away and walked. The others reluctantly followed as he stared after me, before shaking his head and disappearing.

"Sonny, huh?" Cancer asked as he walked up next to me.

"Yeah. That's right."

"A pirate?"

"Mm-hm."

"Damn, we might've worked together, even. I was the Captain of a ship with a guy named Sonny. He was quiet, secluded.. He didn't talk much not of his parents nor past. It was strange.." He trailed off as he saw my shocked face. That might've been me.. Maybe..

"What was your name?"

"Christian." He flashed a grin.

My eyes widened a notch, as I then laughed slightly. "Really? You were the Captain of the same pirate ship as me? What are the odds?"

"We were good pals, I assume. Maybe that 'God' felt bad for us." He made a short chuckle.

I nodded, as I put my hand out slightly. He took it. "It's good to be apart of the crew again." I smiled, as he shook it in agreement.
