Yan Jingcheng took a drag from his cigarette, his eyes deep and unreadable. "What's his borrowing limit?"
A Zhao replied promptly, "Based on the casino's assessment of his total assets and capability, we could lend him up to twenty million. But he used his company as collateral last time, so now we can only lend him five million."
Yan Jingcheng's expression remained unchanged as his gaze swept over the women below. He said coldly, "How much does he want?"
A Zhao glanced at the anxious Yang Shihao and said straightforwardly, "One hundred million."
A smirk appeared on Yan Jingcheng's face. "His appetite is quite large."
A Zhao remained silent on the side.
After a moment, Yan Jingcheng spoke in a low voice, his eyes cold, "Give it to him. Tell him if he doesn't pay back within a month, I want one of his legs."
"Yes," A Zhao responded, then stepped aside to make a call.
Downstairs, Yang Shihao was waiting anxiously, unsure if he could borrow the money in his name.
Casinos have their own rules, and money isn't lent out casually. He had borrowed millions before but never such a large amount.
Yang Shihao glanced at Gu Mingzhu across from him. She was absent-mindedly playing with the chips on the table, her movements awkward, clearly a novice.
His eyes widened with frustration. He couldn't understand how her luck suddenly turned.
Seeing the large pile of chips in front of her, a calculating look flashed in Yang Shihao's eyes. He thought if he could win the next round, that would be great. If not, he'd have to take a gamble.
With this in mind, Yang Shihao's heart raced, his breathing becoming heavier.
After all, cheating in the Yan family's casino was too risky. If given a choice, he didn't want to go this far. But he couldn't just watch this woman take away all his assets!
So, he could only hope that Gu Mingzhu's luck would turn for the worse in the next round.
As he was thinking this, two waiters returned. One held a tray with a document, and the other carried a leather box, presumably filled with chips.
Seeing this, Yang Shihao became excited and asked quietly, "How is it?"
The waiter nodded and whispered, "The manager approved it. This is the loan contract."
Hearing this, Yang Shihao was overjoyed. He hadn't expected to actually borrow a hundred million. His confidence surged, feeling as if luck was on his side.
He quickly signed the document and pressed his fingerprint, clearly excited.
Gu Mingzhu noticed his reaction, her smile deepening slightly.
It seemed Yang Shihao was determined to win this last round. She was curious to see what he would do.
Once the chips were in place, a new round began.
Yang Shihao was the banker this time. Gu Mingzhu bet a hundred million directly, and after some hesitation, Yang Shihao matched the bet.
Seeing his actions, Gu Mingzhu chuckled, "Mr. Yang is quite bold, even after losing two rounds."
"Hmph, since I'm at this table, I'm here for excitement," Yang Shihao replied, scanning Gu Mingzhu's cards without revealing his thoughts.
Gu Mingzhu's two visible cards were a King and a Queen, totaling 20 points, while his own visible card was an Ace, totaling 11 points.
The outcome would depend on the hidden card.
Holding his breath, Yang Shihao stared at his hidden card. His fingers twitched, revealing a corner of the card before quickly covering it again.
