Wes doesn’t know if she doesn’t realize the difference or there isn’t one in her mind. Obviously, “That’s what we do, Tiny Dragon.”
“Not anymore,” Mica says.
“Our bodies didn’t get any slower as they might have if we aged normally and we didn’t allow our skills to go by the wayside,” Wes tries.
“You’re not here because you want to and you’re not alone,” Mica insists. “I understand the situation those people are in enough to do everything possible not to be in it, including following you.”
Wes doesn’t know how to approach her so he turns to Ollie for support or ideas.
“You also don’t know what we’re capable of,” Ollie says. “That’s bound to make a world of difference. I can burn down this whole village to the ground if there was a threat to Wes’s safety. And while I know that Wes can handle himself, I can’t say the same for you two. What I cansay is that I’ll be more protective.”
“I don’t see any problems with that,” Mica says calmly.
