I'll Do It

"You trust that girl?" Serena asked. 

Who she was referring to was Sophia who brought in tea after they had secured the office and made sure that there were no bugs placed by Vince. 

Serena wasn't in a trustful mood. She lifted the cup of tea and made sure there was nothing suspicious on the bottom.

Luca's jaw clenched at someone doubting Sophia, but he knew it was a fair judgment after what Serena had just gone through. As his blue eyes went over the agent on his desk, he sighed slightly and dropped his gaze. 

If he could trust anyone it was the woman in front of him who was doing whatever she could to take down the mob just as much as he was. Even if she had a personal, biased interest in the situation, she was trustworthy. 

"That's my omega," Luca explained. "Everything I'm doing with you, I'm doing for her." 

Serena raised her hands, clearing the air, as if to say she didn't need any more details.
