How I Became The Alpha Mafia Boss' Target

Excerpt: His lips left her neck only long enough to say, “If the invisible scars he left don't disappear now, I'll keep trying again and again until they do. Soon your body will know only me.” Her eyes were still swollen from her previous tears, but they began to water again for a far different reason than before. She tried to pull away and hide her face from him. “Promise me,” she uttered. “Promise me I'll never be in the same room as him ever again.” His fist clenched and he had to control his anger. Finding Happiness

The dynamic was strange in the penthouse between Ethan, Rachel, and herself, but Sophia was happy to be baking again to pass her time.

Not only did she start baking again, but she started posting on her bakery's social media again.

Her first post back was a black and white picture of the bakery when it was first opened. Her grandparents stood out front with their arms around one another and large smiles on their faces. They wore aprons and she could tell how proud they were of their accomplishment, opening a bakery with their hard-earned funds when they were in their 30s.

All the wealth they accumulated by that point was entirely from their elbow grease.

In the caption for the image, Sophia wrote a few heartfelt sentences about how the destruction of the bakery had been hard to handle. It felt like she had lost her grandparents all over again because of the situation. Her disappearance from social media was due to that fact.
