Teleporter

THUD THUD THUD...

Three solid thuds ring out across the synthetic rubber track, indicating that my system scan is almost done.

Nemu walks to each package scattered across the track, writing done various values on her clipboard whilst also checking a small device in her hand.

Writing the last value, she walks back over to me, her clipboard tucked to her chest as a wide smile blooms on her face.

"Heeh... Lily, you really are amazing huh?"

Despite her praise towards me, I feel the real reason for her... Joy is the obvious success of their experiment.

After exiting the door, we went through the procedures just as she said... Taking up a whole week in containment as they observed me...

Doing a few simple tests, as well as looking over the data they collected, they were able to determine that I had a teleportation ability...

Well, they actually said that I had a subtype of teleportation called protoport... Normal teleportation is defined as instantaneous travel using the 11th dimension as the medium... Me on the other hand...

'The ability to move through any space. I can travel through fractals, any dimension including the 0th dimension... And most interestingly, something Nemu called 'the anti-reality.

Other than that, Nemu also explained to me that I could partially put myself between different spaces.

Using fractals and other dimensions I can achieve teleportation that is unreadable by precog as well as other teleporters. Partially putting myself between fractals or other dimensions I can achieve intangibility...

Moving through the anti-reality is impossible, and would result in my immediate death.

The anti-reality, as Nemu put it, is a separate mirrored reality, in which the places of matter and antimatter are switched.

Teleporting items to the anti-reality allows me to instantly destroy them. I can also teleport parts of the anti-reality to me, allowing the release of anti-matter.

There is a limit to this, which is I can only access the anti-reality with direct contact. This means that I can only teleport things there with physical contact, and I can only release antimatter using myself as the release point.

"Hello hello? Miss teleporter, are you there?"

Glancing up, I realize that Nemu is in front of me, waving her hand in my face in a frantic, comical manner.

'Lost in my thoughts... Again...'

"Huh...?"

Seeing my confusion, she sighs, flipping through a few papers in her clipboard, which she seemingly read through during my daydreaming.

"I was reading through the results of the scan... You have perfect intangibility, being able to resist any amount of force we put on you, your teleportation is extremely precise with an almost non-existent error margin... And while your ability to emit anti-matter is very crude, as well as dangerous, your ability to erase matter is amazing!"

Stopping for a moment, she clears her throat seemingly embarrassed by her slight rant.

"A-anyway... Based on the data as well as the results from the scan, you easily pass the threshold to be qualified as a level five esper."

Relaxing a bit, she turns away slightly tucking the clipboard onto her chest as she glances back at me.

"Really though, it's amazing to be able to use your ability to such a degree after just getting it... You really are amazing..."

Hearing her praise, which seems absolutely genuine... And the amount of awe in her voice... I feel my cheeks start to burn with a slight tinge of red at her words.

Crossing my arms and turning away slightly, I glance around at the large, empty track field which we used for our system scan.

As it turns out, today was the day that every other school did their system scan, including tokiwadai...

Feeling a slight sense of familiarity with the empty track field, I turn to Nemu, a slight, almost unnoticeable hint of annoyance in my voice.

"Hey, Nemu... Where are we..?"

Tilting her head, unaware of my annoyance, she answers, the wide smile on her face never fading.

"Tokiwadai Middle School... Pretty fancy, right?"

Starting at her I let out a sigh, a deep, clearly audible sigh.

Tilting her head, a look of confusion comes to her face.

"Is something the matter, Lilly?"

Shaking my head I turn and start walking away, waving my hand at her without looking back.

"It's nothing... Really... I'll be heading out now... See you... Later...?"

Without waiting for her response I walk off, hoping to head back home.

'I'm not a particularly unlucky person... And I don't believe something crazy will happen just cause I'm here... But... I definitely feel like something bad is gonna happen...!'

Glancing around, I spot no traces of any students, sagging my shoulder in relief, which had unknowingly tensed up.

'Well no ones around for now, so I'll be fine... Reaching the entrance of the school fairly quickly, I stop in front of the gates, glancing around at the sparsely populated street.

I pause for a moment as my stomach let's out a low, audible grumble.

'Maybe... I should get something to eat before I head home... I think I saw a crepe stand on the way here too...!'

Hey hey hey...!

So basically I wanted to say...

Mc isn't aware of the events of rail gun or index, she is aware of where she is but she never actually watched the show before.

I'm having it like this because it's more fun that way!

Other than that, I wanted to say that you should give me your stones and comments, because saying that deemed to work last time.

Well that's all...

Love~
