How do I stop being a… eel?

Drifting into the damp, dark cave, I set down the minced crab, hopping to eat it later.

Not bothering to take a look around the cave, as I had already done so with hydro motion, I set myself down on the rocky floor, asking big man to show me my evolutions.

Three evolutions pop up, the Hyper Reaper Swordfish, the Hyper Reaper Angler, and the Hyper Reaper Eel. Surprisingly though, all the stats are the same, upon further inspection though I realize the difference.

While the swordfish has a higher intellect with combat, the angler is more proficient in trapping. And then there's the eel, which like the eel has an increased understanding of combat, but in a more indirect way.

The difference between the eels understanding and the swordfish is that the eel is more attuned to the heart of battle, while the eel takes a more outsider type of perspective.

Of course, there's other benefits to each one, the swordfishes sword, witch is like my mouth blades, the anglers… thingy? Which can be used as an energy focus, and the eel… which gains an electricy ability.

Not thinking much on it, I chose the eel.

I don't really like such an indirect position such as trapping, and being a… swordsman, is not up my alley either. So the eel, which would be considered he mage or archer of the trio was my choice.

Selecting the eel option, everything goes dark.

So basically I've elongated.

Of course, like the last few times I've evolved, I've only gained length, now sitting at around 5 meters long…

I'm pretty long, not gonna lie, it's getting kinda strange to be this long…

Even though big man is doing shit to my head to make this easier for me, being 5 meters long is still kind of difficult to control...

Well anyway, other than elongation, I also got a new ability called...

Bioelectric Sense. The ability to sense the weak electric signals that are emitted from the body.

In other words, an easier and more reliable sensing ability compared to my hydro motion.

Moving on from my evolution, I glance over to the pile of minced crab, feeling kind of hungry...

Making my way over, I decided to do a little training since it's been a while.

Over the next hour or so, I use hydro motion to the utmost precision, separating the exoskeleton from the meat of the crab.

And of course... I screwed up a bunch, but in the end, I made a little progress.

Eating the crab I had gathered, I finally make my way out of the cave, which is located near the edge of the forest.

Gazing around the nearby area before nodding to myself in assurance.

With a faint pulse of electricity, I activate my Bioelectricity sense. Suddenly, within my senses, the whole wildlife of the forest is visible.

Smirking in my mind, I dart off towards the nearest opponent, hoping to level up a bit.

Racing through the trees with relative ease, I break through a clearing, coming upon a small octopus.

The octopus, looks to be a smaller version of the previous octopus I had fought. The octopus is orange with copper armor platings, as well as a short sword and a shield.

Having already activated dead calm on my approach, I fill my right mouth-blade with energy, extending the blade out by a wide margin.

Narrowly passing to his right, my blade slides right through as I don't even slow down to confirm the kill. Of course, moments later I kill notification rings out, telling me that I had succeeded.

Back in the trees again, I'm already heading towards the next enemy, which by it's signal is the same as the last.

As the octopus, which is gold this time, comes into view within the trees, I accelerate slightly hoping to end this quickly.

Yet, when I go to pass him and decapitate the octopus, he does a sudden and sharp turn, blocking my attack and giving me a sharp glare.

Coming up with a solution as well as testing something I teleport behind and above him.

Within moments, the octopus had already turned to face me, giving a slight weary look as we have a stand off.

Charging up a dense ball of energy in my mouth, I launch myself towards him at a great speed. As I near him, he goes to strike me with his sword, but-

*VMMMMM*

Before he can strike me, I teleport away, leaving behind the ball of energy as a present.

Of course the ball, which was traveling at the same speed as me, easily tore through the octopus ending his life.

Going back into the trees, I search for my next target...

Letting out a slight club, I turn my back from the previous battlefield, aiming myself towards the cave I had decided to make my base.

Over the past few hours, I had hunted the cannon fodder, beginning me up by two levels.

Quickly making my way through the forest I finally reach the gave, where I immediately drift in and set myself down on the floor.

Thinking back on the past few days in the dungeon... I think I need a bit of a breather.

'Maybe tomorrow... I can explore rather than fight...'

Deciding on what to do the next day, I let my fishy self drift off to sleep, hoping for the best.

A/N: ah, this is awkward.

Sorry for not uploading for like, almost a weak straight but things kind of didn't work out?

So basically, I prefer writing chaps in my study hall during school, which I have every other day. I of course, dropped a chap on Monday, but then I had to take the act on Wednesday and didn't have school on Friday.

I was actually planning to drop a chap sometime during the weekend but I had a sudden desire to start writing a ToG fanfic...

Well anyway, I'll try to be less lazy this week.

Speaking of the ToG fanfic I'm trying to write... I have the character down, but I'm having a hard time placing her somewhere...

Actually, writing the above just now, I had a sudden inspiration as to where to place her...
