CHAPTER 17

The truck kept moving for a long time, which made Keroli fall asleep.

He was sleeping with his head resting on Helek's shoulder.

However, Helek was still awake because, even in the pitch-black darkness, everything was perfectly clear to him.

Suddenly, the truck came to an abrupt halt, jolting everyone inside.

Due to the jolt, Keroli also woke up from his sleep.

"Where are we now?" Keroli asked, rubbing his eyes.

At that moment, two men opened the truck's doors and, threatening with guns, began forcing the people out one by one.

Keroli and Helek also got off the truck.

Outside, everyone's were taken inside a hospital. The hospital was enormous.

Keroli was walking alongside Helek, glancing around at his surroundings.

Meanwhile, Helek kept his gaze fixed straight ahead. Neither of them had any idea what was about to happen to them or the others.
