Different kinds of brothers

When Chloe got to the kitchen, it was just as she dreaded. Louis stood there with one of the bottles of pills in his hand, looking at it with a strange look on his face.

Her heart sank before it started beating wildly the next second. Louis was a doctor, so there was no way she expected him to not know what that was.

She put up a straight face and hurried to where he was, grabbing the bottle from his hand before she also grabbed the nylon bag on the table, throwing the bottle inside and anything else she could find that would make Louis conclude whatever he was imagining at the moment.

Louis looked at her and then at the table with all the junk and unhealthy foods and drinks she was disposing of.

Chloe was just about to leave the kitchen when he said, "You are pregnant."

It wasn't a question. It was an obvious statement that left him even more surprised when the words left his mouth.
