Finally the day arrives, and now Do Hwan can look in to hiring a manager. Well, the nights at the Guest House of the Moon are like days in the real world. And during the day, the guests would be sleeping or doing whatever ghosts do to spend their nights. After the guests have taken rest and think it is their time to leave, they get a limo or a bus to the afterlife, depending on their karma.
Do Hwan sat back on his office chair, after the long day (night) of work. He now understood what Ma Go meant, a hotel needs a manager. The work wouldn't be lessened, but at least it could be shared. It was possible to hire a ghost manager, but why did it have to be human? Do Hwan sighed, knowing that his work will be hard. Right then, Mrs. Park, the hotel's head of staffs entered.
"What are you thinking about, sir?" Mrs. Park asked, in a motherly tone.
"I'm supposed to find a human manager for the hotel, but I don't know how."
"Did you talk to the old manager who was in charge of Moon's hotel before you?" Do Hwan's ears perked up.
"The old manager.. he is alive?"
"I think so.. all of the previous guests have all gone to afterlife, including staffs. None of us know how he looks like." Mrs. Park said, almost worried.
Do Hwan didn't reply, he just leaned back on his chair, smiling. Now, he might actually get some help.
*
"So, sir? What you're saying is, this invitation will find it's way to the previous manager?" Kyung was curious.
Just before, Do Hwan went to Ma Go's to ask for her help locating the previous manager. Even all-knowing deities get cranky apparently, as she refused to tell anything but his name.
Do Hwan, Mrs. Park, Mr. Ha and Kyung have gathered in Do Hwan's office, to discuss how to bring the old manager to the hotel. As none of them had seen him, this will be a tricky process.
"None of us have seen him, Ma Go told us that his name is Goo Chan Seong. That is enough for this letter to reach him."
Do Hwan simply waved his hand over the letter. Suddenly, the letter glimmered in gold, slowly rising. It hovered over the table, shimmering in its own light. Then slowly it circled around the room, before shooting towards the door. Do Hwan smiled, satisfied.
"Now what should we do, sir?" Mrs. Park looked at him.
"All we gotta do now is wait."

Goo Chan Seong is having a terrible day. It is hard to accept Man Weol's departure, but he has to come to terms with it. He remembered how he hated to work at Hotel Del Luna. As the General Manager of Mrs. Hwang's hotel in Gangnam, he can't deny that his life isn't comfortable. It is, but it still aches to think about Man Weol or Del Luna.
As the day came to close, Chan Seong left for his home. He could feel something around him, some magic. "This is just my imagination. Man Weol is gone." He said to himself, choking up. He didn't think this day would ever come, he never anticipated it.
He reached his home but couldn't shake the feeling that something is watching him. He entered his home, to find a golden envelope laid on the coffee table. Chan Seong's heart sunk. "Man Weol?" He wondered out loud. No reply.
Chan Seong sighed, taking off his work clothes. He was wondering who would send this to him. Maybe someone from work? or is someone playing prank on him? His mind wandered. He made himself a cup of coffee, sat down and touched the envelope.
As soon as his hand hit the letter, it shimmered in gold light as it rose from the table. Goo Chan Seong watched, bewitched. The envelope slowly unraveled itself, to reveal a written note.
Mr. Goo,
I'm sorry we had to contact you this way, but we did. I have to ask something, and it would be better if you could come by the hotel tomorrow.
You are invited to Hotel Blue Moon.
Regards,
Kim Do Hwan
Chan Seong doesn't know when his vision began slipping, as he fell down on the floor.
*
Goo Chan Seong only remembers falling. Neither does he remember how he fell or how long he was out. He looked around to see the sky pretty dark, looked at the time 1:30 AM. He jerked himself up, looking around and saw the letter lying face down.
"Hotel Del Luna?" He whispered.
"Its Hotel Blue Moon now." Chan Seong was startled at the male voice booming.
"Sorry I didn't get to properly introduce myself, I'm Do Hwan. The new owner of the Guest House." said the silhouette in his chair. Goo Chan Seong gulped.
"Am I dead?" He asked rather nervously. Do Hwan laughed.
"No of course not. I wanted to talk to you about Hotel Del Luna actually. That's why I sent the invitation. Now I see, you were quite shocked." Do Hwan walked towards him.
Now in the light, Goo Chan Seong can see Do Hwan's face. A man with a smart haircut and suit, he looked professional. He eerily reminded him of Man Weol. Do Hwan smiled.
"I know I remind you of Man Weol, but I'm not her reincarnation or whatever." He stretched out a hand for Chan Seong to grab.
*
"Why were you looking for me?" Chan Seong rubbed his temples. He couldn't get used to calling the hotel Blue Moon now, it felt weird. Do Hwan looked at him intently.
"I'm looking for a manager. I heard the hotel couldn't function without a human one."
"I'm sorry but.. I can't return to Del Lu- I mean, Hotel Blue Moon. I'm not strong enough." Chan Seong couldn't hold back his tears. Do Hwan was perplexed. He didn't know his job description came with consoling a lost lover.
"I'm sorry I brought up past memories. If you can't help me, I don't know how to find a human manager."
"After you help me, I'll erase your memory if you want. You won't remember this letter, me or Blue moon. Please." Do Hwan realized how helpless he actually is. He has a duty now, after all.
Chan Seong seemed to be lost in thought. In the end, he stretched out his hand.
"Okay. I will help you. I don't know much about appointing managers to a ghost hotel, but I'll try." Do Hwan smiled and shook his hand.
"You have to answer me something first." Do Hwan looked puzzled at Chan Seong.
"Man Weol had a reason to own Del Luna. What did you do to become the owner now?"
