The moment Brent stepped onto the top of the staircase beside his mother, his siblings Ariana and Oliver already wore a bright smiles on their faces, thrilled to see their brother.
"Brother! Welcome back!" Oliver roared and smiled broadly.
"It's nice to see you again, bro!" Ariana shrie in happiness.
Brent smiled joyously while descending the stairs together with his mother.
The family engaged in a group hug afterward. Overwhelm with happiness, they smiled at each other's faces, elated to see one another after a long time of separation.
"Where are the kids?" Margaret asked about her grandchildren.
"We left them in the house. We just want this gathering to be all about us without children running around giving us distraction," Oliver explained.
"Good!" Margaret said. "We will have a family reunion here soon, with your spouses and children included," she added.
Ariana opened her mouth. "Should we also invite her...?"
