Mischief

"Mateo." I said looking him dead in his eyes, and he smiled widely at me as he did the same thing that I told him not to a second ago, "Mateo, I said not to touch vase."

He ran and giggled as I chased behind him, and I sighed as I laid on the couch feeling tired and worn out.

"I swear to God when your father get's here you'll get in trouble."

"Dadda?" he asked pointing to the door, and I looked before shaking my head no.

"No baby. Dadda is not here as yet."

"Mamma." he said running over to where I was now sitting up right on the couch as he tried to climb onto my lap my before smacking me hard several times to get my attention that he had already had, but it had become a habit of his for he wanted to make sure that he had your full attention, and he won't stop hitting you until you verbally respond.

"Yes baby?"

"Dadda?" he asked pointing to the door, and again like last time I looked at where he was pointing, and there was no Emilio.

"No baby, dadda is not here as yet."
